Blues have been so good at enforcing their style of play onto their opposition. Bullying them upfront with mauls, pick n goes and hits off 9.

If Brumbies pack can match them upfront I think the backlines are very evenly matched which makes for an exciting outing 💥

All Blacks/Springbok traditional tours set to resume again for the first time in 30years😬

With the All Blacks set to tour South Africa in 2026 on a 3Test series with midweek games vs Bulls,Lions,Sharks, Stormers and South Africa A side😍

This to happen every 4 years with Springboks set to tour NZ in 2030 and play the 3Test series along with midweek games vs NZ super rugby sides. Maori game in the works as well as a women’s tour to be scheduled along side it🏉

The winning streak of “I stopped counting” finally comes to an end. Tough one to swallow but we can’t ponder on this for too long. We’ve got 2 more regular rounds left and will now shift our focus to finals and staying higher than on the leaderboard🫡

Yes, you need a pack of forwards to lay the platform and yes, the Flyhalf ultimately runs the show.

But I feel like the 9s have become more and more prominent/important in controlling the team’s tempo.

Their option taking - which direction to go, which forward to hit on those pods off 9. Their communication on defense is also just as important. Sitting just behind that first line of D. They are the eyes and then become the first tackler when a linebreak is made💪

Then there is that beautiful support line that all 9s are running now and scoring a ton of tries because of. The Aaron Smith line I like to call it. Man changed the game there💯

Couldn’t agree more💯

Explains why something has happened, why a player decided to do something, how a coach would’ve picked a certain play to run and what they could’ve done differently.

Also a lot more informative and descriptive around lineouts and scrums. A great listen for all.
