We are giving our condolences to the Alex Perdue Fire Department because they are dealing with a loss of one of there Firefighter

We are deeply saddened by our loss of one of our Fire Fighters please help us pray for Chief Dylan Funman.. He worked with our Fire department and worked a lot of time with us but now he is died!!

Please pray for him!!

Due to increased Fire Danger and ongoing Wildfires, the North Carolina Forest Service has issued a burn ban for all of Western North Carolina.

Under North Carolina law, the ban prohibits all open burning in the affected counties, regardless of whether a permit was previously issued. The issuance of any new permits has also been suspended until the ban is lifted. Anyone violating the burn ban faces a $100 fine plus $183 court costs. Any person responsible for setting a fire may be liable for any expenses related to extinguishing the fire.

Local fire departments and law enforcement officers are assisting the N.C. Forest Service in enforcing the burn ban.

The N.C. Forest Service will continue to monitor conditions. Residents with questions regarding a specific county can contact their N.C. Forest Service county ranger or their county fire marshal’s office.

CHECK THIS OUT: Alex got Richard Petty's Number 43 car parts that was left behind when he crashed while Richard was racing for Daytona 500 This is a gift from someone that found this!!

Richard raced all of his left but when Richard Petty had his very bad wreck while racing for Daytona 500 you can see car parts flying from his car!!

Our Chief Meteorologist Alex Perdue just got this from a friend he knows WOW!!

A cold start to the day, but temps will rebound pretty quickly. Happy Monday, North Carolina! Partly sunny skies are expected with more clouds, especially to the west, as a weak disturbance works through. We can expect some showers across the mountains and parts of the foothills and Piedmont of state areas to the east will be dry. Highs today will be in the 60s to low 70s for most areas. A gradual warming trend will continue all week.
