Long before BTS was a multi-appearance guest at the UN, they were a young group gaining attention, but uncertain about their future success & longevity. Listen to the latest episode of BTSBtB for a look at these earlier days.

In this episode, we consider two smaller chapters from Adrian Besley's 'Fully Revised & Updated' book from 2020. We pick up (more or less) where we left off in episode 6, looking at the next ‘chapters’ in BTS’s early history (from 2014 to 2015).

New episode out today! Featuring the 2nd chapter from Jeeheng Lee's insightful book: BTS and ARMY Culture. This chapter's all about voting for BTS. What voting looks like behind the scenes & what the negative aspects are when it comes to certain awards programs.

This episode features another chapter from the 2019 book by Jeeheng Lee (BTS & ARMY Culture). Dr. Lee's chapter on ‘Voting Culture’ provides a behind-the-scenes look at ARMY’s involvement with votes-based awards in the music industry.

Another episode (now available) on Tamar Herman's Blood, Sweat & Tears book.

The focus of this episode is chapter 14 from Tamar Herman's 2020 book, BTS: Blood, Sweat & Tears. It's a chapter that explores BTS's social media efforts (e.g., Twitter, YouTube, V Live) & how those efforts have helped the group become the global sensation they are today.

And the winner is Jimin! For the upcoming 10th episode, we'll focus on one BTS member by looking at multiple chapters from multiple books at the same time (doing some comparing & contrasting). I drew a name out of a hat, and out came Jimin! We'll see how the Jimin chapters stack up...in just a few episodes from now!
