ISLAMABAD: Telecom companies agreed to block mobile SIMs of more than 506,000 non-filers in the country.

The chairman Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has been assured by the telecom companies that the mobile SIMs of more than 56,000 non-filers will be blocked in one to one and a half weeks.
Chairman FBR Malik Amjad Zubair Towana has been met by the officials of the telecom companies, in which he assured to block the mobile phone SIMs of more than 506000 non-filers and said that in the next few days the SIMs of the non-filers will be blocked. will be done.
The representatives of the telecom companies in a meeting with the Chairman FBR said that the companies fully comply with the laws of the country. Messages will be sent to non-filers to submit income tax returns, after which mobile SIMs will be restored after clearance from FBR of non-filers who have submitted tax returns.

At least 11 people died as a result of fire at RJ Mall located on Rashid Minhas Road in Karachi.
