There are a lot of people with negative habits in the world (most of which are not aware that they have negative habits) and so most of us grow around parents with negative habits (especially concerning money and time).
So we also grow up with a lot of negative habits.
When we get to our 20s, we realize we are fu**ed up and the only solution is to change for the better by developing positive habits that will move us towards success.
This is the hardest part.
Positive habits, just like any other good thing cannot be developed in a day.
It takes time and conscious effort to become that better version you want to become.
This is where the men are separated from the boys.
I read somewhere that if you want to be an expert in something, you try it for 10000 times continuously and if you want to also build a habit, then you repeat that habit everyday for 66 days. I do not know how true these facts are.
But what I do know is that It takes a very long time to build a habit.
One particular positive habit people struggle to build is doing what they say they will do.
We all have the aim of being successful but it also comes with sacrifices; like reducing the amount of time you spend on Netflix or maybe putting an end to your luxurious lifestyle as a poor person.
So we often set goals for ourselves and say we will do this and that every day but once we do it for 3 days and we don't see results, we give up.
And we go back to our old lives because it hard to develop a positive habit and very easy to live a normal (anything goes) life.
After trying and failing just like every body, I came across a method of how to achieve your goals in life and this has greatly improved my life for the better.
Very simple
1. Decide Exactly what you want.
2. Write your goal down on paper.
3. Break it down if it is a big goal.
4. Set a deadline.
5. Determine the small tasks you have to accomplish everyday in order to achieve your goal in full.
6. TAKE ACTION; I can't stress this enough.
7. Make adjustments to your plan when needed.

Just follow these steps from today and you will be amazed to see who you turn into.
