The issue of parking is something that is brought to the attention of the local policing team on a regular basis, Parking is an emotive issue which causes concern and tensions.

If you are collecting your children or visiting friends we would like you to think for a minute and ask yourself, could someone in a wheelchair or a parent with a double buggy get past?

When a vehicle is parked on a pavement next to an overgrown hedge, lamp post or tree, the problem becomes worse. A blind pavement user is either forced to go on the road which has inherent dangers. An obstruction can also impact on access by emergency vehicles.

We work closely with Neighbourhood Enforcement Officers and in some cases will issue a fine for obstruction.

*REPOSTED FROM A FRIEND*
PLEASE be mindful what information you are sharing with the world when you post pictures of your children!!

About 18 months ago, a friend of mine was alerted to something extremely nefarious and horrific!

You see, she has a beautiful baby girl!

And like the rest of us, she wanted to show off her little daughter to the world.

She posted pics daily (just average pics, nothing out of the ordinary)of this beautiful little toddler.

Then it was brought to her attention that a number of her pics had been "lifted" from her social media, and placed onto a p3d0ph1le site.

She was given the link, and sure enough, some of the pics of her innocent little baby were posted there, and the comments were nothing short of horrific!!

These preditors are watching all the time, and many may even be known to you!

BE CAREFUL!!!
