I’ve created my own minion army…🤯😂 At least they like hiking!😂😂 📍Capitol Gorge Trail: Capitol Reef National Park ——————————————————————————— ▪️Capitol Gorge Road (One of the prettiest drives in the the Park) leads to the trailhead for this hike! Try to arrive early, as there are only 20 parking spots in the lot. ▪️4.5 Miles, Out and Back Trail, 374 ft Elevation Gain. ▪️1 Mile in, look for Tanks Trail sign and follow the short offshoot for beautiful views that lead you upward to 2 large “ natural tanks” of water. Literally a dream come true! It was partially covered in snow and ice, but it was still amazing! ⚠️ A special permit is required to hike here. If you try to sneak in the fines are are up to $10,000 per person and possibly jail time. ✨All you need is 20 seconds of insane bravery!✨ When I think back on those scary moments… The only thing I regret is when I let my fear win. I wouldn’t be where I am today if I had given in to all my fears. So I am absolutely terrified of snakes- like insanely terrified (aka: I broke my foot running away from a snake years ago). And it doesn’t help that I spend a lot of time in the desert🤦🏻‍♀️. When our hair started standing on end, we booked it back to shelter.
