Deep in the Belly is an Artist Management, Marketing and Publicity company launched by Billy Lynch in 2008 in Portland, Maine and is still based in the Northeastern part of the U.S. Currently we are working in a variety of roles with the outlaw country / Americana band NORTH OF NASHVILLE. Our mission is to create a solid foundation for

the artists we work with by lending the necessary supports needed to not only reach their goals, but also allow for continuous and sustainable growth of their business and artistic ventures in the long-term. Our services range from Full Artist Management to Marketing, Branding, Merchandising and Social Media consulting, Tour Management, along with the capability to craft strategic Public Relations campaigns for individual shows, tours and festivals. We'll also mention artists/bands from Portlandtown (Portland, Maine), the Northeast and beyond that we dig on, along with whatever rad things are going on in music today. Current working with:

To those that have not seen the original music film doc, Heartworn Highways, we implore you do to so. Excited for the sequel to that film with these fine contemporary artists, along with a few from the original. Check out the trailer below!

The 1976 outlaw country/americana documentary Heartworn Highways is getting a sequel this year, and our own Bobby Bare, Jr. and Justin Townes Earle will be included in the cast alongside Deer Tick, Langhorne Slim, Jonny Fritz, Shovels and Rope, and returning veterans David Allen Coe, Guy Clark, and Steve Young. The new film, 'Heartworn Highways Revisited,' is produced by the original film's Graham Leader.

You Were A Sphere // The Whale & The Warbler [Live Music Video]

Some good friends and my brother Dan Lynch have a band based in Rochester, NY called The Whale and The Warbler. I hung out with them last weekend while they recorded a new EP, on a quaint lakehouse in Upstate NY. After they finished tracking I shot this video of them crammed in a bathroom, playing a new song. This is proof that a 7-piece band can make sweet sounds in a tiny space...
