WAGING WAR ON THE JEZEBEL SPIRIT

“The Jezebel spirit thrives off of truces and treaties and will never settle for defeat.
Like a 2 year old throwing a temper tantrum, this spirit controls its victims by particularly seeking to take dominion over one's emotions, often using anger, intimidation, fear, threats, and irrational behavior to get its way.
The Jezebel spirit has great strength and power because it is not used to being resisted, opposed, or denied access to what it desires. People who have healthy boundaries and operate in Godly authority drive the Jezebel spirit mad.
Those who come against this evil spirit will often pay a high price, suffering spiritual attack and loss of relationships.
In the midst of this battle, one question always becomes clear with Jezebel and yourself : Would you rather live under its control as a slave, governed by anger, seduction, manipulation, and fear, or would you rather wage war and live as a free man/woman? All hell will be unleashed against you, but the Lord Jesus will fight for you!
One last thought, when finally confronting the Jezebel spirit, you must understand that it loves to play dead. It will minimize, spiritualize, rationalize etc the true extent of the damage it has done. Many individuals that move in this spirit are classic examples of what it means to engage in dysfunctional living. Dysfunction is when something happens and then we act like it never happened.
In other words there could be blow ups, acts of control and manipulation, and other attacks one week on victims and then the next week, those operating in this spirit act like last week never happened, meanwhile the victims are still paralyzed by the abuse the week before. When you confront people who operate in the Jezebel spirit, they will claim to be victims of the very chaos and drama they created.
I want to encourage all those who are being influenced and bound by this evil spirit to fight for freedom, do not settle for truces and treaties, and when Jezebel plays dead when confronted, make sure the spirit is dead!
If you are operating in this spirit, repent and turn to Jesus. Apologize to those whom you have wounded and do whatever you can to make things right. Stop throwing a 2 year old tantrum every time you don't get your way. It's evil!”
