Ever heard of the Erlang C Formula to measure efficiency in capacity (aka people)? We did not. But David knows!

Here is what we learned To use the Erlang-C formula to determine if your current call center staffing is adequate, you would need the following information:

Number of Agents (A): The number of call center agents available to handle calls.
Number of Calls (C): The total number of calls received in a given period.
Average Handling Time (H): The average duration it takes for an agent to handle a call, including talk time and after-call work.
Target Service Level (SL): The desired percentage of calls answered within a specific threshold time.
Target Answer Time (T): The threshold time in seconds within which you aim to answer a certain percentage of calls.
