Our hearts go out to Charlottesville this evening and the larger Virginia community as a whole. Ash and I road tripped through it's back roads and met some of the people for better and for worse. Regardless, no one deserves what happened today. I speak for both of us fairly confidently when I say we are against what Antifa did today (BLM had no real part in the violence and I remain a huge advocate and ally for the movement) and we will always strongly against White Nationalism in any form it appears in. You will see a lot of excuses for the violence today from the far right. It's difficult to follow, comprehend and try not to be overwhelmed by the events today as a jewish kid. Excuse my language, but it's really fu***ng scary. I don't have any insightful advice for our future, or a possible solution but I do have this: Stay safe, never change what you identify as out of fear, and always remind yourself this country is for everyone regardless of color, religion, gender, biological s*x, and political views. No one can tell you that you don't deserve to exist. Album of the week returns monday for our last two weeks.

This week we have a short AOTW that is out of this world. It's an ep (not really a full length record) so i'm cheating on the Album of the week, but this is worth a listen. It's the time again everyone, it's another Monday. This one slightly more terrible since both Ash and I have to work (Instead of just her and not me, can't be lazy anymore/ entitled youngster.) Anyway, all jokes aside. Mom Jeans is an emo/indie band from CA who love memes, bobs burgers and writing delicious hooks with smooth instrumentals and melodies that will leave you craving more. It a record that I've been playing over and over again.
