WHAT IS DAO?

To us, DAOs have a very bright future. There may be a strong bull market next year in which everyone is buying every token with the word DAO in it, but don’t necessarily bet on them as an asset class.

Think of DAOs as a bet on the future of human organization.

In summary: a DAO is created by a group of crypto wallets controlled by individuals and other organizations that executes all its movements through code, making it possible to manage assets and votes safely without the need for underlying legal or traditional banking setups. Membership in a DAO can be extremely fluid compared to what traditional organizations can achieve, and DAOs have been used to manage assets, build protocols, vote on community matters, and create niche factions for interests like digital art collecting.

CryptoPunks are one of the most expensive NFTs out there. It actually makes up 3 out of the top 5 most expensive NFTs ever sold. In March, an ultra-rare alien punk was sold for 4,200 ETH ($7.58 million) and is currently on sale by its owner for 35,000 ETH ($142.4 million).

CryptoPunks are 24x24 pixel art images that are mostly punky-looking guys and girls with a few rarer types mixed in, such as apes, zombies, and aliens.

Much like physical art, beauty is in the beholder's eye, and every art has different value to different appreciators. There is also, of course, hedonic value when it comes to valuing any art, including NFTs, meaning just how much enjoyment one gets out of their art.

When it comes to CryptoPunks, there are other factors as well that are taken into consideration when valuing the NFT.

1. Scarcity
First and foremost, limited quality. Just like there would only ever be 21 million Bitcoin and not a single more, there will only ever be 10,000 CryptoPunks.

2. Popularity
Popularity is another factor that plays a pivotal role in the valuation of an NFT.

3. Age
CryptoPunk’s high valuation could also be attributed to the fact that it is one of the oldest NFTs, which makes it an OG, giving it socio-cultural significance.

' Story of an introvert '

Going back to my childhood days, I've been an introvert in the sense that I held myself back in most of the situations that could have been proved beneficial for me. Till recently, I considered this as a negative trait and something I needed to change in my personality. Introverts tend to lose energy from external interaction. But eventually I realized that there is nothing wrong in being introvert. However society doesn't see it i the same lighting. Introverts do have views about the world, we do have passions, they choose not to share them with the world.
Being an introvert doesn't stop you from achieving any of your goals. Albert Einstein was an introvert, did it stop him from being the world's greatest physicist , or just being happy in doing what they loved? We need to stop this way of thinking that if the kid at the back doesn't speak much in the class, they won't make it in life or they are worthless in any way. With time, I've experienced that there is no fixed umbrella where a person is absolute introvert or extrovert, that would be a disaster.

Culturally we need a balance, we need more of both and not stereotype into one. This is especially important when it comes to creativity and productivity.

Being able to reimagine yourself beyond what other people see, is the toughest task of all, but it's also the most beautiful. -

This Indian Couple Exchanged NFT Vows With a Digital Priest on the Blockchain
As the couple disrupts India’s most sacred contract, they’ve been asked if they also plan to make babies on the blockchain.
The couple got married on Nov. 15 and now reside in the Indian tech city of Pune. But their nuptials went viral just recently. The reason? As the Indian government went from considering banning some cryptocurrencies to announcing a 30 percent tax on all cryptocurrencies, the couple’s not-so-traditional Indian wedding came into focus. The two had an intimate digital ceremony by blockchain.

“The record of our wedding is permanent, immutable and public. The blockchain ledger is tamper-proof. No one in the world can change the fact that it is recorded on the blockchain, which is a sign of our commitment to each other. [It] is a very powerful statement about our marriage itself,” Narasipuram told to media.

The ceremony shows that while the government is still stumbling through figuring out how to regulate digital currencies in India, online transactions are already transforming India’s most sacred contracts: Marriage.

At the centre of the couple’s ceremony was a smart contract supported on the Ethereum blockchain along with the couple’s vows, which were minted as an NFT or a non-fungible token. The NFT featured a picture of the bride’s engagement ring along with the couple’s embedded vows. The token was then exchanged as a digital transaction on the online marketplace OpenSea.

A blockchain is a shared database that functions as a digital ledger or record for online transactions. Cryptocurrency transactions on a blockchain are permanently recorded and accessible to the public. NFTs are unique digital collectibles that can be traded, bought or sold. They can be used to represent physical assets such as artwork, music and real estate. In Narasipuram and Nair’s case, it represented the couple’s vows and rings. “We can think of the NFT as a digital ring or as a metaphor,” said Narasipuram.
