Planet Coaster in a Snap: Steampunk will be taking place next saturday april 2nd 2022 at 8PM UTC!

There will be NO requirement for a roller coaster in this event however you will be given a specific building to theme, that will be given just before the event starts (will be an in-game shop/amenity)

Hello everyone !

This weekend, Games in a Snap is hosting an event, Dorfromantik in a Snap! Saturday, May 29th at 2pm US/Chicago time at https://twitch.tv/gamesinasnap .
The competition will consist of four builders, and three 30-minute rounds with a brief intermission between rounds. The winner is the one with the highest cumulative score of the three rounds combined.

Each round you start, you may restart as many times as you like and the highest score obtained in that timeframe is the one that will be counted for that round.

In the event of a tie, there will be a SUDDEN DEATH round in which the finalists will have just 15 minutes to gain the highest score possible with no restarts.

To sign up, visit https://gamesinasnap.com/events/dorf1 and hit "register." Participants must be able to stream on Twitch for the duration of the event, and join the Discord (located via the website).

If selected, a mandatory meeting will take place thirty minutes before event start in Discord.

Then, at 2:00 pm Chicago Time we move onto the CiaS: Live January Speed Build Finals for Intersections in a Snap! This time we feature , , and attempting to topple the reigning champion ! Who will come out on top and be named the champion?

Hello !

After last weekend's BTS/Q&A we have some special announcements to make over the next week or so, but first up we have something I'm SUPER stoked about:

CiaS: Extended Edition

CiaSE is a week-long Cities in a Snap build that features builders being given their theme/goal during the weekly CiaS competition as part of a public announcement partway through the event.

These builders will have the following week to build their entry to the competition, and their work will be judged in the thirty minutes leading up to the live CiaS event. Chat will, of course, have a voice as is usual for Cities in a Snap!

Submissions must be in by the following Friday at 5 PM US/Chicago Time. Submissions by video (no more than 5 minutes) are encouraged, but screenshots will also be acceptable.

The first theme announcement comes this Saturday! What will it be? Will YOU be interested? Find out during this week's Intersections in a Snap at 2PM US/Chicago time!

Consider this to be that Expansion we've been alluding to. ;)

Hello everyone !

This Saturday, a special CiaS event, Disasters in a Snap, is upon us.

You will be able to donate to a good cause, Food Lifeline, and rain destruction on the participants' cities. This event will feature Great DawnLaine , , and going head-to-head to build a sandbox-style city, and survive the chaos thrown at them!

All donations and bits will go toward the goal on Saturday, in the following format:

$5 or more donations get a level 5 Tornado to each Streamer.

Every $10 donated TOTAL brings an earthquake.

$10 Individual Donations get a Level 10 tornado to the Streamer of Choice.

Any donations of $25 of more gets a Meteor rained down on the streamer of choice. (You Choose!) This will be a level 10 meteor.

$40 or more gets EVERYONE a Meteor, levels 3,7, and 10 randomly distributed by the host.

$50 or more gets EVERYONE THREE meteors, levels 3,7, and 10. That's NINE METEORS!

HAPPENING RIGHT NOW!!!.... The CIAS September competition begins this Saturday afternoon with "PARK LIFE IN A SNAP"!! This month all of the builds in the compeition will center around the glorious "Park Life" DLC, and all that it has to offer!!
Who will regin supreme in Week 1 of CIAS??... We shall find out soon enough!!!

Hey Skylines Fans!!

HAPPENING RIGHT NOW... CIAS will conclude the month of August with the CIAS "SNOWFALL in a SNAP" FINALS!!! That's right folks.... here we are at the finals, and for the first time in CIAS finals history there will be a CONSOLE builder w/ Joeys_Coffee_Cup! But wait.... THERE'S MORE.... We also have a CIAS 1st time finalist w/ ToadieYPQ, who won last week in her VERY 1st ever CIAS appearence! These two 1st timers will be going up against two CIAS veterans w/ Kiggi85, and MrTommie are BOTH very skilled builders in their own right respectively...

This week's theme: Sandbox... It's time to see WHO will come out on top this month!! Will it be one of the "1st timers", or one on the CIAS vets??.... Only time will tell....
