Previously India Post announced 40,899 positions in GDS(Gramin Dak Sewak). The last date to submit online applications was February 16, 2023. According to official notification
there will not be a written exam and interview. Now all students are awaiting the GDS result. Cut Off marks will be decided by the authorities and Reserved category students receive cut-off marks relaxation.

PM compliments Nationwide Mega Cyclothon participants.

Why is Cyclothon important?
Cyclothon was indeed a great success because it has enriched the energy level of cadets to take part in more such campaigns and
initiatives in the coming days.

When and at which place it was held?
It was held from 10 to 11 October 2015.
It was the first time that the Hong Kong Tourism Board organized a mega event related to bicycles sponsored by Sun Hung Kai Properties which was the largest property developer in Hong Kong as of 2019.
The cyclotron attracted over 3,600 participants, including 100 cyclists coming from 17 countries.

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has complimented all those who took part in the Nationwide Mega Cyclothon Event and spread awareness of healthy living.
In response to a tweet by Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare, Dr. Bharati Pravin Pawar, the Prime Minister said;

“Compliments to all those who took part and spread awareness on healthy living.”

केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य और परिवार कल्याण राज्य मंत्री डॉ. भारती प्रवीण पवार के एक ट्वीट के जवाब में प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा;

"उन सभी को बधाई जिन्होंने भाग लिया और स्वस्थ जीवन पर जागरूकता फैलाई।"
