What is Verboten?

Verboten in German means: forbidden, especially by an authority. In N**i Germany anything that went against the State-approved narrative was not allowed to be reported.

Have you seen the clip of Newt Gingrich stepping into a subject that is "forbidden" on Fox News? It is a really awkward exchange.

This leads to many questions.
• Why would he not be able to bring up George Soros?
•If this is hard-hitting journalism, then why would they not explore any subject - no matter where it leads them?
•What other subjects are we not hearing about because they aren't allowed as well?
•Who sponsors Fox News? Where does their revenue come from?

Freedom of the press is a vital right given to us in the Constitution. It is important that we have the ability to get news that isn't tainted by the government. But it is also vital that we have access to media that isn't tainted by the corporations that sponsor them.

Media claim exclusive access to Trump health details from anonymous WH sources.
Trump greets his supporters outside hospital without a single mainstream media outlet knowing.

What did we learn?
Media has no anonymous WH sources.

What narratives have these anonymous souces in the media been allowed to create? What happens to a country when people who are unwilling to come forward with their name and reputation are allowed to accuse its President with no proof? And in the case of Trump calling the military "losers" and "suckers", there were 4 anonymous sources against 15 who were there and confirmed the opposite.

We should demand more of our media. We must use critical thinking skills to see through narratives being pushed for evil purposes.

Imagine being able to decide how the money for your child's education was spent.

We could have schools where kids only attend 3 days a week or only mornings. Or we could have schools that offer longer days with quality after-school programs to support working parents.

A parent could choose a school that teaches with a hands-on approach, has more field trips, focuses on technology/arts/sports, or has specialized special education programs.

Imagine being able to decide if you want religion as a focus or how s*x education is approached.

The pandemic has shown us that we need to rethink the way we approach education. With passing the School Act, we can empower parents and demand more flexibility and options for our children.

Why is a Supreme Court pick so important?

The phrase "separation of church and state" is not found in the Constitution. In 1947 a Supreme Court ruling changed the original intent of the Founders and now our laws can be used to silence religious groups.

•If a church takes a political stance, they can lose their non-profit protections.
•If a baker doesn't want to make a wedding cake for a same-gender couple, he can lose his entire livelihood and reputation.
•Charter school funding for homeschoolers will pay for ANY curriculum except if it is religious-based.

One Supreme Court ruling sets a precedent that can then be used on later rulings. How a Justice interprets the law has long-lasting consequences.

We need to fight for originalist Justices - ones that make their rulings based on the text and original intent of the Constitution rather than those of precedents.

The National Archives is where we can see our Founding documents. This is an event created by them for Constitution Day. Though their effort to educate is praiseworthy, the casual nature of this invite is inappropriate considering the danger our Founders put themselves in to bring about our Nation. What happens in the White House is critical to not only preserving our freedoms, but freedom from oppression around the world. In 1949 a man named Chiang Kai-Shek fled the communist takeover of China. The people of Taiwan escaped communism and are still fighting for recognition today, 71 years later. These freedom loving people deserve to be aided in the fight against communism.
