raising a puppy has definitely had its ups and downs- while they’re cute, they are SO much work, especially for one person 🙈.

I’m just so glad I have Stella to help teach and to play with Sunny and it’s so nice when I see progress, no matter how big or small!

the girls got to try out the EarthBites from and they LOVE them 😍. I mean how else do you think I got this pic of the two of them while outside at one of their favorite parks?! my favorite part is that they can easily be broken apart, which makes them perfect for training treats! 🙌🏼

Stella went crazy for the Lamb protein ones, while Sunny loved all 3 equally! it’s safe to say that these are definitely our newest go-to! 🤍

I know they’re not ‘smiling’ (panting) in any of the snow pics bc it was so cold, but I promise they loved the snow 😆. if only the snow wasn’t ~4 hours away from us, we’d go more often!

one of the best decisions I’ve made is getting a dog and an even better one is getting a 2nd dog 🥹

I love them both so much and it makes me so happy that they love each other just as much (even tho they’re not smiling in this pic 😅). they both even love Celeste too 🥺. Sunny and Celeste’s friendship is improving everyday, they love chasing each other around and playing while Stella watches 😆.

we’re back from our trip! we got an airbnb with a few friends & took the dogs to Yosemite! ☺️

this trip has been quite the adventure haha, but was still relaxing and it was great to spend time with friends. Sunny had such a fun time with her best friend, Nova and despite Stella’s anxiety, she had fun with all of her human friends.

Sunny LOVED the snow, I’m so happy we got to take her this young and I will definitely be taking her again! Stella likes the snow, but not as much as Sunny, lol.

we planned a super last minute trip with the dogs & a few friends and I can’t wait! it will be Sunny’s first time on a trip, so I’m excited to take her somewhere new.

I’ve already packed one really big duffle bag full of stuff for the dogs and I still have more stuff to pack for them like their food, Sunny’s crate, and more 🙈.

the dogs always have 3x the stuff I bring for myself, anyone else the same?! 😂

this year my main goal is to make healthier choices! from eating choices to being more active throughout the day, I want to live a more healthy lifestyle overall!

my goals for the animals:
- Stella: help lessen her anxiety & build her confidence
- Sunny: to continue to work on her training & introduce her to new places
- Celeste: nothing, she does what she wants 😅

TBT to an 9 week old Sunshine 🥺🤍

I thought I took so many photos & videos and I wish I took more! I cannot believe she was ever this small. now, she’s ~27lbs and is tall & skinny and she eats 2x the food Stella does 😅. she’s eager to learn, loves her doggy friends, and follows Stella and I around all day. 🤍

I hope you all had a good Christmas! we hosted the family at our place for lunch/dinner and then saw Aquaman 2 at night!

both of the dogs were so good, especially Sunny, who really surprised me with her excellent focus and listening skills. Stella, of course, was so happy to see everyone, but after a few minutes, calmed down 😆. Celeste isn’t the biggest fan of us having people over, but she chose to just chill in her cat tower versus sleeping in a different room.

it was my fault for not watching her close enough, but Sunny has chewed through the wall in some places 🤦🏻‍♀️. the naughtiest thing Stella did was chew up my glasses, which was also my fault for not putting them away 😅.

I think we all know that puppies are so cute, but they are crazy 😆

idk about you, but things have been so busy lately! I really thought it was gonna be a chill holiday season, but between the animals, work, friends, family, and IG, things have really piled up! all I want is some free time to finally start reading ACOTAR & the fourth wing… 🙈

I took them to the park early this morning for a walk before work and grabbed this pic! the fog was barely there, but I’m glad I got to catch some of it!

even as she grows older, I will always see her as the little 9.4lb puppy we brought home ❤️🥺

Sunny’s training has been going super well! I’m especially impressed with her excellent listening and focus skills even in new areas. She has a lot of the basics down- sit, stay, down, leave it, settle, look at me, etc., but as we begin to walk outside more, we’re working on things like heel & come. she’s come a long way and she’s growing up to be the best girl, just like her sister, Stella! 💛
