Building your community online is vital to ensure your clients are kept up to date with what’s happening with your business…

But how?

🔥 No, emojis aren’t for the young! Break up your content with the odd 😊 or 💣 to prevent people zoning out, and to grab the attention of a pro-scroller. Apple and Samsung update their emojis all the time, there’s pretty much one for everything and work with all industries.

🔑 Engaging with your clients and the wider community is a huge part of growing your online presence. From an appreciation reply to congratulating a fellow business-owner and liking posts in your field, spend a certain amount of time each day speaking with your potential customers.

📸 It’s all about the reels and videos nowadays, as platforms are favouring video content. They aren’t difficult to create and there’s so many tutorials out there. Mix it up on your feed with photos and film to reach all audiences. Sometimes people can’t watch a video if they’re on the train or walking, but can easily access a photo.

👀 Trends come and go every day, whether that be funny dances and TikTok’s or something happening in the news/online that can be made relevant to your company and audience. If you’re caught up watching certain videos on TikTok while scrolling in bed, there’s your trend!

🔎 Hashtags are genius! There are websites that help utilise the most popular ones in your field and can be used widely on Insta, Twitter and TikTok. Tagging your region, field or anything relevant can help your online community find you!

Hi everyone! I thought I’d start off this little adventure by introducing myself…🙋🏻‍♀️

Evidently, I’m Amie. I’m 25 and living my best life in the North East (Teesside based).

My passion has been with writing for as long as I can remember and I’ve been fulfilling my dream of being a journalist for the past 5 years, by working for three North East newspapers that only publish positive news stories (you’d be surprised how many there are).

While working with the Life, I’ve managed its social media accounts since I joined on the 11th issue - we’re now 239 & counting… 📰

As I’ve written positive stories about new businesses and their amazing achievements, I’ve been determined to help promote them in any way that I can but didn’t know how, until now! ✨
I’m excited to begin assisting SMEs in their online journey, whether that be content creation, public engagement or copywriting - I’m here to help and put my vast experience to good use. 💪🏼
