I had an extremely emotional day Saturday and Sunday and I didnā€™t emotionally eat. I didnā€™t run šŸƒšŸ½ā€ā™€ļø to my regular comfort foods either. I ate sensibly both days. Iā€™ve noticed my body isnā€™t craving itā€™s normal comfort foods when Iā€™m sad, anxious or bored. This 12 week fitness and wellness challenge is working.

Iā€™m noticing I canā€™t consume the same amount of food when I have an emotional eating episode. Since the small portions and intermittent fasting, Iā€™m noticing a huge decrease in consumption and I am excited about that

I drunk way too much tea from Bojangles. I havenā€™t had sweets in 5 weeks and I am going through withdrawals and I couldnā€™t stop drinking that tea, maaan I been vomiting off and on šŸ¤® since 9am this morning šŸ„“šŸ˜© Iā€™d rather deal with the withdrawals because this is NOT IT!!!! I made a bad decision but I will definitely remember this moment šŸ˜©

We all react to Trauma differently. Some have to be with multiple women, some have to be with multiple men, others over eat, while others drink excessively. Some people shop to much and some work excessive hours weekly to avoid being alone to think.

The reaction is caused by the trauma and the trauma is caused by an event such as parents abandoning you as a child, excessive rejection from love, molestation, domestic abuse, lack of daily needs being met. So many other things.

To begin the process of healing and maturing, you must first be able to admit it, accept, separate yourself from the trauma and apologize to the people who were hurt by you during your traumatic denial.

Iā€™m in the process of separating myself from my trauma and itā€™s really frustrating because I have to deal with the pain of rejection and being put last or never chosen at all and that makes me cringe. I tend to run away and let it all go but if I donā€™t get past it, there are things Iā€™ll miss out on. Up until now, I didnā€™t even care about healing in that area. I was perfectly content with running away.
