Was in for a couple days before and after the festival I went to in albania (Kala Festival) managed to have a decent time meeting some other solo travellers. I hit a view point near the airport where I spent 4 hours to capture the image with the plane 😅. There’s a monastery nearby you can see in the pictures. Spent the last couple days with who snapped the pics on the paddle boat we took in

Festival in , wow what can I say, first off this post is hella delayed. This was my first ever festival, the intimacy of it is what has triggered the start of a festival spree. Being able to meet new people everyday and yet bumping into all the friends you make on the previous days is a special treat. My friends were veterans at this festival and told me to come along, I’m glad I did. Why haven’t I been doing all this when I was younger I’ll never know, but time doesn’t stop, so let’s do it now. Will be going again this September. Shout out to .sa who snapped the moped shot, it was an opportunity that couldn’t be missed.

During our tour with .cronin.photo in (in ) one the of the little girls that run around selling beads dropped her flip flop down the side of the cliff by a waterfall, the girl in the second picture helped her friend retrieve it. Silly sausages. The adventures of these children must be amazing compared to our parks and fields in south England…

We were at the hot springs, as soon as we started walking up the long stretch to the top of the famous travertine terraces, I noticed how the debris/sand at the bottom of each pool of water would disperse. I fixated on this because it was a clear shot in the video by and so now I know where he go that shot from! If you haven’t seen the video I recommend you google “watchtower of Turkey” I hate it; because it’s great, and I wish I made it.

This was the end of our trip on the edge of the islands in the picture are the ksamil islands. The water here was really nice and clear and we watched an amazing sunset as well. This area is only just starting to build up as a tourist spot, lots of hotel construction going on!

in is full of amazing limestone stalagmites and stalactites. In the domica caves you can take a little boat ride which is quite nice and fun! Definitely worth it. Domica caves are situated south in Slovakia toward the east side, best to visit from which is on the east side of Slovakia.

I’ve been to a few times now; for business and pleasure. This was a trip that mixed a bit of both, I was going with a friend that had never been before for a quick 4 night trip; but work came out of nowhere with a day job of directing while I was out there! One of those nights you don’t forget; although every night in was incredible. This was towards the end of our trip, we were already adapt in finding the lights but we had a pre planned light hunt in with . Our tour guide Dan was this incredibly high spirited and cheerful of a man who took us to this great spot! I trudged through knee deep snow to get to a secluded spot and shoot this time-lapse. The lights were intense for hours!

The Aurora group went home, but as usual the adventure doesn’t end there. We went to another location that I had pre-scouted on google maps across the river in . A great spot on a dock that we managed to drive up onto, we watched this show from the warmth of the car. Just before this, when we arrived at this location, I saw the most beastly huge shooting star, burning red with a huge tail, it was bloody amazing, I thought Superman was landing. I’ll be making a full quest video eventually, be sure to follow me for more!

Out in the mountains of in my buddies head to bed, but unfortunately adventure doesn’t rest. I went for a midnight hike to get some timelapses of the luckily I didn’t get eaten by wolves! I can’t get enough of seeing the Milky Way, it’s always on the todo list to see whenever I go travelling somewhere remote. Try to find a place away from city lights, perhaps in the mountains away from civilisation and use a star gazing app to calculate whether the Milky Way will be visible in the sky at that time of year in the location your at. I’ll let you know how I do it when I post the timelapse eventually!

If you find yourself in you should definitely go out for a ride, you can easily ask your hotel reception about it. You won’t be seeing animals frolicking but you’ll get a fun action packed drive up and down the sand dunes.

Dam we saw the every night on our adventure in and so many people I speak to try to see this for themselves and always get unlucky. Yes luck is a factor, but honestly I was so well prepared there was no way I was going to miss it. There’s a number of tips I can share to prepare you, firstly the time of year September or February are the ideal times for Norway for example, due to having longer nights and more ideal temperatures; you also want to go somewhere in the northern areas in the auroral zone (between around 10 to 20 degrees down from the North Pole) ... more tips to come

Driving in the middle of the night through in I came across this lake which sat silently reflecting the stars. The light from the tunnel ahead looked like fire disrupting the environment, giving it life, so I had to stop and take a picture. Not always poetic but... It took me a while online to find out where these constructions were! I thought they were hidden away in the wilderness, but they’re simply on the grounds of the palace.

in is definitely something special, we had a crazy hike to get to this view point, and on the way down there were giant fallen trees blocking the path every turn, it was quite the adventure! We had to make our own path downhill through the steep drops and slippery leaves. Be cautious!

is a beautiful river in west of Slovenia that travels through the mountains. It has this amazing turquoise colour, definitely worth seeing. We did some down the river experience calm waters and rapids. A little bit scary when you don’t know how to swim; but it was all worth it.

Up in the we stayed in a 🏔 under-looking peak Kamno. When we set off from this point to go further up the mountain, we got stopped by a bunch of cows up the narrow mountain path, clouds covering our view, we had a just a clean white screen of fog to our right with a massive drop and a steep edge to our left, no where to go but forwards.... we didn’t run the cows over, after a while they all squeezed passed us... 🐄🐄🐄
