Hey y'all! For the second year in a row, and with a LOT more issues of the magazine, we'll be repping The Scene at this year's NYC POETRY FESTIVAL!
Come hang, meet the team behind "the scenes", pick up any issues you're missing, and hear some amazing poetry.
It's a little late, and it's almost full (only 3 pages left), but we are currently collecting poetry and lyric submissions for publication in the August Issue of The Scene. After that we'll start collecting for Sept.
The August Issue features the Nassau County Open Mic Flash Mob that meets on the 4th Sunday of the month at Eisenhower Park Field 3.
Put on by the PPA (Performance Poetry Association) and hosted by none other than Just Turek the People Poet.
Happy Freedom Day!
May we all find the freedom to express ourselves unabashedly on the mic!
Come check out the Vinyl Listening Lounge at where you can read just about every issue, including the first!
