Hiking trail Couple of weeeks back
Its always good to hangout with likeminded friends and do some outdoor fun even if its around town but away from our comfort zones,as long as camping is involved one can never say no.
We hiked on a blazing heat to Manyana Gorge,it was a bit challenging cause of the heat but we were ready with the essentials for the trail.
We were hosted by a lovely guide name Kido who was exceptionally good and motivating.
The gorge was dry upon arrival but worth the visit and definitely for a return after rainy season.
After we camped by Notwane where we chilled and enjoyed the rest of the weekend by the river.
It wasn’t much but fun and enjoyable,relaxing.

Fishing weeknd with the boys🎣.Camping by the river/lake is something else,breathtaking and vibe the water brings,listening to waves whistling as wind moves the water slowly.It’s my third time camping in ths particular campsite but I’m not getting used to it,I will forever go back,
We took a drive to Parys(freestate) couple of weeks back hoping to catch some fishes and sure it was a great weeknd.😊

Things that always draws us back to the bush,the sightings we never get tired/getting used to seeing.
The best part of my trips is sightings,I could spend hours just enjoying the wildlife doing their thing .
It’s amazing ,it’s refreshing it’s therapeutic for me.

Botswana Untamed part 2
Famous Loop (day 3)

One would say Life is better around the campfire and even better with good company creating memories,sharing moments and having a cold one to enjoy the night breeze.
That’s how our last night in Khumaga Camp was,gathered around the 🔥 after enjoying our last game drive in Makgadikgadi,we indulged the moment as the sun as it set and to top it all the elephants having a joyful stroll.
The night breathing softly and enjoying the breeze as we prepare braai and having friends around the fire.
We had joining us for our last night,and one would swear we had it all planned out,the weather was perfect,the moon and stars knew the assignment too,it was a beautiful night,we shared our stories,laughed and learned as we enjoyed braai meat prepared by Og from and soon called it a night,we all had to drive some places the following day.
Woke up in the morning early enough to enjoy the sunrise,we wasted no time,quick shower and breakfast as the excitement started kicking in,of the place we going to.
We enjoyed the place and what it offered,such abundance of wildlife,it was amazing but time to go explore Nxai Np.after packing we hit the road to South camp thru the park to exit in Phuduhudu gate.Reached Nxai gate just after noon and checked in.The road wasn’t bad,it rained the day before so the sand was still wet and compacted,we cruised nicely until we reached the xomae/south camp gate.

Botswana Untamed (part1)
Famous Loop

As we like to call it ,we recently did the pans trips,where we cover most of Botswana central area which includes the National parks(Nxaai and Makgadikgadi and some part of the amazing salt pans which is the one of the largest if not in africa arguably the world.
Like most Overlanders do it,we started ours as well with spending our first night in Khama Rhino Sanctuary,on the convoy I was joined by a good mate all the way from Jhb with his lovely wife .
We met in Palapye and head out to Khama Rhino.
We arrived in time to set up camp and braai,we catched up over few cold ones,
There was so much to talk about since it was their first time coming to Botswana.
The following morning we did game drive but unfortunately ddnt see a thing,we quickly packed up and compass pointed us further up to Khumaga,made a quick stop in Letlhakane to refill and had lunch.we then hit the road,we couldn’t wait with what lies ahead of us,we couldn’t contain the excitement,all we were looking forward to was the migration that was still ongoing and cups were full of hopes and prayers.
We arrived in Makgadikgadi NP right on time,even tho Boteti river was dry that ddnt shut us down,we were welcomed with good sightings just after the gate,passed by SKLCAMPS to check in after warm welcome from Department of Wildlife personnel at the main gate.
We were given Khumaga 10 very nice campsite,clean and lil bit isolated.
We enjoyed our first night under the clear sky with super great weather and moonlight.
Woke up early morning to drive to Hippo pools where we were blown away with amazing sightings,we have never seen so many zebras and wildebeest like that.the migration was still ongoing,elephants sightings.
Went back to camp to start preparing something to eat,there again we had a visitor looks like we were on his spot🐘, jus before another good mates joined the convoy for more remaining adventures.
The place became more and more fun and enjoyable.
Next to our campsite camped who later joined us by the fire and you know what that means sharing stories ⛺️🏕️❤️

Been ages missing in action.
Took some time to refresh my mind and take a good moment to camp by the dam with good mate just outsiDe town.
It was a great day and the place is insanely beautiful 😍,the breeze,the sound the water makes as it makes small waves were highlight of the night.
It was the 1st of the many to come.
The place is a gem⛺️🏕️

Happy 2024🎊 season of great things😊

Like everyone else I spent my first Sunday doing what makes me happy 😊.
I have been missing in for a while,it was befitting of me to get out and have fun.
The weather was permitting,bit of breeze,dam,sunset,good mates,cold one and braai 😊🤤(what more could one ask for)
That right there is what I call Peace.
I loved what came out of the day
Very exciting news,there will be more camping and more travelling,more outdoor braai😂.
Some more places to explore,and some of the trips will be private,solo and tag along 😊.More content .
Looking forward to leave a trail.
