The Pygmy Hard bait series!

Probably my favorite of the group, the Py Popper is a finesse way to call the fish in!
The Py Shallow minnow can be used like a crank or jerkbait to nab some fish residing in the upper water column!
The Py Crank is a bit deeper diving for targeting those schooling fish.
Overall the Py series is primarily designed for Light Game fishing, designed with saltwater safe hardware and fantastic colors it’s an awesome option to fill your tackle box.

The Mixture Series Soft Plastics!
•
The Mixture line of lures, soft plastics, and terminal is a series primarily focused on Light Game fishing. This generally targets fishing in saltwater with finesse techniques. The soft plastics have been some of my favorite baits available from this line. They all consist of a super soft plastic (with a lot of scent) that collapses and makes hook sets really easy.
•
The P**i Shad is a rendition of the P**i Long with a boot tail that gives a nice tiny kick, contrary to its similar profiles P**i Shad, that gives a thumping action depending on what the fish prefer. The Aji Pearl has got to be the most underrated of these three because it’s true versatility. Whether you want to dropshot, wacky rig, or cut down small for light jigheads targeting bluegill, it’s got a lot of potential. Then to address these new jigheads, the Mixture jigheads have an upturned hook focused on increasing hookup ratio, as small species are known for undetectable bites that this style of hook is designed to combat.

The Octopus 2.5”
•
This is an interesting bait because it’s not a profile you see often, if at all. With buoyant and super stretchy material with scent, it’s definitely a great option to mess around with. I’ve thought of a few ways to fish this but I think the 3 I’ll eventually have to try are free rigging with a dropshot hook, a Cheb rig, and absolutely a dropshot rig. I feel like the tentacles would really entice some pressured fish. Whether it’s saltwater or even freshwater!

The Py Popper!
•
Im personally a sucker for poppers and this Py Popper offers some things that others do not. With different option for colorways, as this was designed for saltwater, it provides a unique option for fine tuning a bite. It also features saltwater safe hardware to protect against frequent use in saltwater! I’ve caught a few species in saltwater with this so far, like Jack Crevalle, Seatrout, and surprisingly quite a few small baitfish species like pinfish and pigfish.

The Jelly Shad 55
•
This bait is interesting as it’s super light (2 grams) and allows for a different profile versus a traditional swimbait and jighead. It allows super fast nearly top water action or if you slow roll it, it retains in a lower strike zone while still kicking a ton. If you’re someone who loves jdm gear you’ll get great value out of a bait like this Jelly 55!

The P**i Long
•
Yall using this bait in fresh or saltwater? It’s a versatile profile whether you’re jigging for crappies or area casting for small saltwater species. I actually loved pairing this with Jackson Mebaru minnow on the back treble and it created an awesome S effect that small seatrout loved last summer. Highly recommend the P**i Long baits and others in the series if you’re looking for some unique baits.

The Bottom Magic
•
I thought this bait would work fantastic after catching a Sea trout on one of my surf set rig setups, but the wind was crazy! But my reasoning behind using this lure in the surf is because it gives a sort of “walk the dog” action on the bottom. In the surf there’s ton of different species that love to feed off shrimp and other crustaceans that reside in the moving sands on the beaches. I’ll definitely be working on nailing down bfs in the surf for quite some time because it’s so unique, as in my area you’re casting heavy spoons if you’re throwing lures in the surf, but I’m trying to break some barriers!

This could be a fun combo once I fix the tip on this rod. The Tender shoot seems like the perfect for using alongside a glass rod for flicking a Bronco Blade through trees and brush. This rod I custom built to actually show at icast last year… but the tip of it broke in my drive down to Orlando. But I should be able to fix it soon!

Have yall considered tricking out your BFS reel?

This being one of my first bfs reels, I felt like it needed a bit of pampering so before my annual trout trip. has some stuff to give your reels upgrades whether it’s a spool or even handles! Definitely recommend doing so because it made my Alphas Air feel like a brand new reel with new applications it’s great at. The spool I used is the AX22 and bearings.

The Gravity BFS has easily been one of my favorite reels this past 6 months or so.
•
While yeah there’s plenty of great BFS reels out, in particular I have loved the durability and just simple do it all nature of the Gravity BFS. I find myself opting to pick it up if I’m inshore saltwater fishing, or even if I’m just going for some bass. Through out the months it has felt as smooth and consistent as day one. Not many reels can I say that about. I’m truly impressed with the consistent quality and effort that was put into the design of the reel, with the continued effort to provide more options to consumers who are looking to fine tune💪🏼

Been loving these new pliers from

Lately I’ve been beach fishing pretty much most of the time, which has really did a number on certain pieces of gear. My pliers have developed tons of surface rust, but now I’ve upgraded to these Titanium pliers from Gomexus. They feel super smooth and are incredibly. Not to mention they have my favorite pliers holder I’ve ever used, super easy to pull out whenever I’m away from my bag where most of my gear is. I don’t mind actually carrying them on my hip at all now. Go check em out!

Went kinda hard on the Pompano yesterday!
•
Not BFS related but I sure had a ton of fun. I love pompano fishing so much because they fight so incredibly hard! Heard they’re great eating too so I’m gonna cook up some of these bad boys! We in fact left these fish biting because we didn’t want to clean and keep a two person limit. As we walked back it turns out apparently no one was really catching much besides whiting. I guess we just read the beach right and got lucky! We also were the only ones who had 🤔

First fish on lures in the surf😂small but counts.

I have always wanted to figure out how to target fish on the beach with bfs and lures. I talked about it with and he suggested the Decoy Rocket Magic jigheads were perfect for getting down through the water with lightweights. Pairing it with a Bone Bait 2” paddletail, I managed to target the right areas in the surf to get my first fish on surf and bfs.

Honestly, nothing beats a boat ramp bass to get you hyped for the day.
•
I was having a tough trip down in Teneroc with the crew, but one of them started killing it on a weightless fluke, which is my all time favorite lure. Which it finally hit me I wasn’t giving finesse techniques the love they deserve, which is crazy seeing how in love with Bait Finesse I am. Lo and behold, it turned the trip awesome switching to bait finesse primarily! Bait finesse is one of those techniques that makes fishing finesse so much fun, and much more efficient in tough conditions.
