Esports and NFTs are headed on a collision course and there’s nothing anyone can do about it. These prime digital assets will serve as the foundational pieces for gaming infrastructure.

Gaming as a whole will USE NFTs to enhance the experience it provides and serve as a more entertaining real-life simulation.

And just like how sports are the epicenter of culture in our society today. Esports will be the same in the digital realm.

When and where was “culture” born?
In order for us to understand why Blockchain technology mixed with creative digital assets equals a cultural revolution with unreal monetary gains… we must look back at when culture was born and see what parallels we can draw.

People often think culture was born during the Renaissance, but it was born much earlier than that.

There were many cultural Renaissances that occurred before the main one that started during the 14th century. How come we’ve never heard of them?
•
Josh Rosenthal, PhD 🌿 says it’s because society never had access to the technologies that would let culture SCALE.
•
The invention of double-entry bookkeeping at the end of the 13th century and the NFT technology boom in 2021 allow cultural revolutions to SCALE.
•

What comes next for the NFT industry?
These NFT collectibles have established first-mover advantage in the space.
But now there's starting to be more supply than there is demand.
Remember a couple months back when the 1/1 NFT industry started to stagnate...
what happened?
The industry adapted and shifted to collections. Communities were formed.
The same trend is repeating now. The NFT collection market is starting to get a little repetitive, which will force the industry to adapt and improve.
What happens next? It's time to apply use cases to these characters. For me, it's gamification.
Virtual worlds, play-to-earn models, game theory applications, advanced avatars, etc.
The NFT industry is getting ready to make its next step in its life cycle.
