TINUBU IS A WORKAHOLIC, WE CALL HIM 'PRESIDENT NO SLEEP' - NGELALE

Presidential spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale, has restated that President Bola Tinubu is a “workaholic” leader who works round the clock to fix the country.

Ngelale made the claim in an interview with ChannelsTV on Friday, March 29.

“The man is a workaholic, which is why some of us in the office joke, we call him ‘President no sleep’ because those of us who work with him also don’t get to sleep as a result,” Ngelale announced.

“I think Nigerians recognise even from his time in Lagos that this is a man who will wake up at odd hours touring roads, touring various projects making sure the civil servants are in the office on time.

“I mean this is a hands-on micromanager who is antsy when he’s not working. He needs to be working, his hands need to be working, he sleeps late, and he wakes up extremely early. This is who Nigerians have elected.”

Ngelale also described Tinubu as a “good listener” who is always willing to hear people out during interactions.

“I think one of the things that maybe most Nigerians would not know about him, having had the opportunity of working closely with him, is that he’s probably the best listener I’ve ever seen in terms of my interactions with leaders,” he said.

“This man would listen to you speak, even if it is 30 minutes, and would read out what you’ve said, but as he’s doing so he will be cross-checking the weaknesses and strengths of your presentation.

“He will tell you ‘this is what I think should be, it can be done better, I like this idea’. I mean this is the detail orientation of the man. He’s very brilliant, he listens, he works hard and ultimately I believe that with the political will that he’s always demonstrated, he is the president that I think will take Nigeria to the destiny all of us have sought for our country.”

On efforts by the president to get the nation working, the presidential spokesperson said Tinubu is ensuring that there is infrastructure in all sectors.

“Let me start by saying that the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari before now had obviously kind of kick-started the process of infrastructural renewal with five new international airports, three new high-speed rail lines in different regions of the country, and of course, the new Lekki Deep seaport. The first new seaport in over 40 years, many roads and bridges, et cetera,” Ngelale said.

“Now, that was a good start, but we recognise that in view of 50 years’ worth of infrastructural deficit, there is so much more that needs to be done, which is why President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is not just continuing but is picking up the pace with acceleration and a widened scope of infrastructure projects to ensure that we have an infrastructural backbone effectively to support the development of this aggressive push for foreign direct investment that he’s been making around the world since assuming office.

“To be very specific, we are going to be fixated on multiple sectors of the economy with new infrastructure projects.

“You’re going to be looking at new power plants. You’re going to be looking at several new dams across the country.

“You’re going to be looking at new irrigation systems so that we can have our farmers producing high yields and high quality of high yields, you know, across all seasons of the year, which had not been obtainable for many, many decades now in many arid parts of the country.

“In addition to that, the president is leveraging the new Renewed Hope Infrastructure Development Fund to also Egypt or South Africa or Kenya or any other competitive country in the African continent.

“We’re going to ensure that we position Nigeria through this fund to deal with, you know, those enabling bits of infrastructure that will ultimately make life easier for our business people, make life easier for our citizens, and facilitate the movement of goods, services and people in such a way that we can unlock the economy for the benefit of all Nigerians.”

Did you know??
Towns called Amuzu in Igbo land arose from ancient settlements of blacksmiths

Awka clan is prominently known for their smithing prowess but they were not the only clan that excelled in smithing...

The Agbaja clan before them excelled in smithing, it is even believed the skills honed and perfected by Awka smiths were transmitted to them from Agbaja..

Item and Ebiriba are two other smithing clans not related to Awka..
Actually Item came to their current location in search of iron ore and they formed settlements all over the Cross River area.

Brief about "Killi-We" Nwachukwu, from Oboro Umueze Ogwa, IMO state.

“Killi-We” Nwachukwu was for more than two decades celebrated as a homegrown Nigerian “superman.” Some of his legendary feats of strength included lifting buses, having cement blocks crushed on his head, and allowing cars to drive over his body.

Superman Killi-Wee Nwachukwu was the strongest man in Nigeria–Philip Emeagwali

Killiwe in action
He was a superman who was going from place to place to perform. People paid to watch him. I saw him perform at our primary school in those days. I think his real name was Nwozuzu Nwachukwu (or something like that). I heard that “Killi We” was a nickname he got after a fight with a certain man, one commentator said.

A great natural Superman! Nwozuzu Nwachukwu (Son of God). “Killi We” was a nickname he got after a fight with a stubborn man “Tick man” who refused to pay him his money for a truck load of goods he conveyed from the market to the man’s home.
He used to push a wooden two wheel truck with which he carried goods for people. Then, Truck vehicles were not around, or were not affordable. So, after dropping off the goods, the man would not pay what Nwachukwu charged claiming it was too high. He tried to walk away and Nwachukwu grabbed him by the hand insisting he must pay. A fight ensued and he pinned the man to the ground. The man’s wife ran in and came out with a wooden pestle to assist her husband. Nwachukwu snatched it from her, lifted the woman up and pinned her on top of her husband on the floor. Powerless, she started screaming, Killi We Nwachukwu, Killi we Nwanchukwu” meaning, Nwachukwu, kill us!

In the early 90’s, we were asked to pay some money so that he will come and display his power. We gladly paid the money. On the D day od his assuMed coming, we waited, we couldn’t see him, so, we left. The following day in school, some students that were patient enough narrated how he came, how he carried four students on each of his hand and some many power acrobat . Menn….. It was like a hell to me that I didn’t wait to see this man.

He is real. That was anothr commentator.

And yet another.
He existed. Back in eighties, he came to our school, we paid 50 Kobo to watch him. He carried 10 bags of cement on his stomach and toyed a 504 peugeot SR with a rope on his teeth. Story had it that when he died, his body was deposited in Aladinma mourtuary, he in the night, will carry don all other corpeses and strech himself on them. He continued this till he was rejected by the morgue. He was real.

I remember hearing stories about Giant Alakuku as a child. But I don’t recall ever seeing him.

I remember Killiwe. He was a fat dude and used to tour the country performing stunts like grabbing cars by the bumper and preventing it from moving as someone stepped on the pedal.

I also remember a Seven-Seven song about Killiwe:

“Killiwe Nwaozize Nwachukwu
Abeg make you help me carry my load”

Great Ibeabuchi alias Pistor Killer of Ngodo Isuochi the Lion of Africa who was a great Superman who contested and won the mighty Kill-We Nwachukwu in the sixties.

TINUBU'S 4 YEARS WILL GO FROM WORSE TO WORST BECAUSE OF IMF, EUROPE AND AMERICA'S MANIPULATE - KALU IJOMAH

Reveals America's involvement in Nigeria's calamity..

The Governorship candidate of National Rescue Movement in the last general election in Abia state, Chief Kalu Ijomah has stated that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will rule Nigeria for four years and will be unable to solve the hardship occasioned by his economic policies.

Kalu stated this in a chat with Newsmen in Umuahia, the Abia state capital last weekend. The Abia NRM governorship candidate noted that the conditions that Europe and America gave President Tinubu to get their support to become Nigeria's President will hinder him from doing anything meaningful for the four years he will rule Nigeria. He said that the President is acting a script, written, delivered and being directed by Western countries. According to him, the removal of fuel subsidy is not in the interest of Nigeria but a plot by world powers to continue to suffocate Nigeria and further enslave the most populous African country.

KALU questioned the sudden removal of fuel subsidy without proper plan, noting that the advanced countries that are behind the subsidy removal have subsidy policies running in their nations.

"Why the rush to remove fuel subsidy on the day of inauguration? Even in advanced countries where power supply is stable, their people enjoy some form of subsidy or the other. Why should Nigeria a struggling country be different? Especially considering the fact that most households and companies generate their own power supply".

"In 2021, the EU spent €184 billion on energy subsidies, which include fossil fuels, nuclear energy, and renewables, with €39 billion being attributable to fossil fuel subsidies. The primary sectors where fossil fuel subsidies are utilized in the EU are transport, industry, energy, and agriculture".

“Fuel subsidy was the only social welfare programme of government that was available to Nigerians. It had a profound and direct impact on the welfare and job creation potential of even the poorest Nigerians. Its sudden and uncoordinated removal has unleashed a most fearsome and debilitating austerity on the people".

"Nigeria is heading no where under this administration. The 2024 budget is business-as-usual exercise, lacks concrete ideas and actions that would support Nigeria’s journey toward economic transformation, consisting mainly of wasteful expenditures. Budget 2024 will not facilitate growth and cannot empower our citizens to earn a living and live a decent life".

Kalu maintained that America and other western countries are behind Nigeria's predicaments, while they pretend to be supporting her.

"America pretends to be friendly with Nigeria but in reality her worst enemy. They support directly or indirectly governments that do not perform in Nigeria. Under former President Goodluck Jonathan's administration, Nigeria was the third fastest growing economy in the world, just behind Mongolia and China. What did America under Barak Obama do? They worked against him, frustrated his fight against insecurity and supported the opposition to remove him from seat. Through CNN, Politically motivated Human Right groups and allies, they heavily criticized Jonathan's administration as the most corrupt government, Nigerians and the world believed it".

Ugonmaigbo TV News reports that in the heat of the Boko Haram insurgency, the US government placed an arms embargo on Nigeria, though it cited gross abuse of human rights on the part of the Nigerian army as the reason for its decision.

"Dr Goodluck Jonathan (former President) publicly said that President Barack Obama and his officials made it clear to him by their actions that they wanted a change of government in Nigeria and were ready to do anything to achieve that purpose. He said that they even brought some naval ships into the Gulf of Guinea in the days preceding the election. Jonathan also accused Obama of influencing the opinions of world leaders against him".

"How can a country that claims to be friendly with Nigeria not support a country that had the third fastest growing economy in the world when her support was highly needed? Why would they openly support a change of government by all cost? What was America's naval war ship doing at the gulf of Guinea close to Nigeria's Presidential election? With all that happened during 2023 Nigeria Presidential election, where was the American naval war ship? Where was the war ship during the killing of innocent Nigerian youths during ? Why did America keep quiet during President Tinubu's certificate saga?".

"What they do is to support those who cannot perform, so that they west will continue to plunder Nigeria and keep her incapacitated. I ask again, with this ever increasing hunger in Nigeria, where are the so called human rights bodies, civil society groups used to criticize Goodluck Jonathan? They won't talk because the person they want is in power. This government is in compromise with them, so Tinubu's eight years in office is already sold, no hope". He concluded.

Nigeria is battling rising inflation, food inflation, forex crisis, economic hardship and high cost of living occasioned by the removal of petrol subsidy, attracting protests in many parts of the country and looting of both government and private owned goods.

Does he expect only Nigerians to endure while his father flies abroad with tax payers money for treatment?

How much did his father approve for First Lady's vehicles?

SEN AKPABIO CONFESSES WHAT NYESOM WIKE DID DURING 2023 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION

My brother Nyesom Wike, we all know how you brought someone from his hotel room in Ghana and made him Governor, without contesting election.

Someone was in his hotel room in Ghana while you were here running around with lawyers to make him Governor.
Someone who didn’t contest election suddenly became a governor
You made that happen but it will not happen in Nigeria again.

We also saw the miracle of 2023 elections , where you delivered a President on the platform of the APC and National Assembly Members on the platform of the PDP in an election that held same day and same time …. That was uncommon.
Mr President doesn’t take your support for granted .

That miracle is the reason why the south-south was appointed minister of FCT for the first time .

Nobody will bring you down my brother , God has raised you already.

— Senate President, Godswill Obot Akpabio speaking at Senator Barry Barinada Mpigi ‘s thanksgiving service yesterday.
