سرکاری ہسپتال میں کسی دوست کی اہلیہ کو بلڈ دینے کے بعد کینٹین میں گیا اور وہاں سے برگر اور جوس لیکر باہر بینچ پر آکر بیٹھ گیا ، جیسے ہی کھانا شروع کیا تو دیکھا پاس ہی ایک معصوم سا بچہ حسرت بھری نگاہوں سے دیکھ رہا ہے ، مجھ سے رہا نہیں گیا اور دونوں چیزیں اس کو تھمادیں ، بچے نے پکڑ کر فوراً کھانا پینا شروع کردیا ۔ میں دل ہی دل میں مسکرانے لگا کہ معلوم نہیں کتنے دنوں سے بھوکا ہوگا ۔
اور خدا کا شکر ادا کیا جس نے مجھے ایک بھوکے کو کھانا کھلانے کی توفیق بخشی۔
تھوڑی دیر میں بچے کی ماں آگئی جو غالباً پرچی بنوانے گئی تھی ۔ اس نے جیسے پی اپنے بچے کو دیکھا جو برگر کا آخری نوالہ کھا رہا تھا ۔ تو یکدم سے پتا نہیں کیا ہوا قبلہ رخ ہوکر اس شخص کو بددعائیں دینے لگی جس نے اسکے بچے کو کھانے میں یہ چیزیں دیں ۔ کہا تو انھوں نے بہت کچھ مگر وہاں سے رفو چکر ہوتے ہوئے جو مجھے سمجھ آیا وہ کچھ ہوں تھا کہ
کوئی بہت بے غیرت اور گھٹیا انسان تھا ۔ جس نے میرے بچے کو برگر کھلایا ہے ۔ میں 30 کلومیٹر دور کرایہ ادا کرکے خالی پیٹ بچے کے ٹیسٹ کروانے آئی تھی ۔
