Day 1: Notes-
They aren’t kidding when they say you need to acclimate to the elevation for two days. We were glad we took the altitude medication from a travel clinic in the states as well.
Hiking poles, quality, shoes & socks and safe water is everything. Bathrooms are 1 soles 💸 so make sure you have coins everywhere.
Here are a few things I was already grateful that I packed: toilet paper, sunscreen, bug spray, Chapstick, a passport on me at all times, fleece, and rain, jacket, and a Ziploc with lots of snacks.
