Here’s a story about a 92 years old who picks up, as you would say, garbage.

30 years ago this man was, as he quotes “a couch potato”. Then he decided to do more for himself and others. He finds all sorts of stuff; clothing, food and refundable containers. Last year he made 11 000$CAD with those refunds. He brings food that is still good to his neighborhood. We need more people like this man! ☝🏼92 years old! 😮

I did my part by filling up my reusable mug with coffee at a Petro-Canada station. How about more recycling bins at your stations ? 😉

So I went to a scrap yard to pick up a Chevy Cruze 2014 kit. 70$CAD. 👍🏼

We found an awesome eco-responsible market that also serves ready-to-eat food. It was so good we had to come back the next day. 🤤

I used my empty mason jars and plastic containers that I brought on the trip to limit my waste. And I cut old socks to protect the mason jars from breaking.

Day 3, fully charged from last night’s camping, quick top up in Rimouski at Chevrolet dealer.

Then headed to Canyon des Portes de l’Enfer (Canyon Gates of Hell). 🥵

Stopped at La Vallée de la Framboise Inc. to cool off with a strawberry and raspberry slush. 🤤 If you drive through Val-Brillant, make it a must! 🙂

Finally we found a perfect camping spot in Carleton-sur-Mer. 🌅
