I have been working my ass off to put together some amazing stuff over here and I can't wait to show everyone! There'll be lots of new content on the website - which is being redone (I'm so excited!)

It won't be too much longer - I swear it will be worth it.

PS - A little tidbit for those putting together their own Pitch Decks; when you are putting a deck together it's important to know what TONE and LOOK mean:

- Tone: The is the attitude, the point of view. It includes the syntax of not just the dialogue, but of your action lines as well. Is it formal or informal? For instance, the difference between STRAIGHT OUT OF COMPTON and PRIDE AND PREJUDICE - very different tones in those movies. So you are going to pick a couple of movies that are similar but not exactly the same (because your story is unique, right!) and you are going to use these as examples to give the reader an idea of the attitude of your story.

- Look: As the name suggests, this is where you give the reader an idea of the visual nature of your story. Dark, light, elegant, comical, romantic, harsh, edgy - the list goes on. Pick a couple films that best represent what you are going for and then describe the look itself.

IMPORTANT: Always use movies that are, or have been, successful for your Tone and Look!!
You would be surprised at how many decks I've seen that did not use this space intelligently. Not only missing a great opportunity to influence the reader in their favor by 'name dropping' successful films in association with their project - but also possibly swaying the reader negatively by listing films that did poorly!

True Story -

There's a lot of people out there that don't know what a pitch deck is - and that's okay because I am bout to illuminate y'all.

Pitch decks have been around for a long time and are used in all types of business. They are a collection of information, both image and text, put together like a small book or magazine. Its purpose is to share, in a professional and condensed way, all the important stuff you need to make certain people aware of - so they can decide if they want to jump on board and join your project.

In the film industry this translate to - "I'd like some money, please". Film industry decks are used to get projects green-lit by wowing the people with the money and resources to get it done. They are also used to get additional producers interested, talent attached, crew enticed, and dreams made real.

So, that's a real simple description of what can be a complicated piece of work.

So, I've been creating film industry pitch decks for many years now. I create them for screenwriters, producers, production companies, talent, etc. For projects ranging from feature films to TV, from documentaries to music concerts - and anything industry related that is looking to attract funding, production, and/or attachments.

I learned pitch deck creation coming up through the trenches -and over the years I have developed a 6th sense for creating a dynamic and professional deck that embodies the soul of the project I'm working on by using color, graphics, fonts, images, layouts, and tonal casting - including all the correct content needed for the deck's purpose. Each deck is an original creation made specifically for each project. No cookie cutters here!

Big step - I've decided to make my services available to the industry public at large - up until now I have only been available by private recommendation.

I'm excited to open up to helping more wonderful projects and creatives take their stories to the next level!

This is my company and I'm excited to share it with you!
