I saw this picture and thought it too good not to share…A US solider wearing the crown of Holy Roman Emperor Charlemagne found in a cave that was in N**i controlled territory in the year 1945. The N**i’s of course where known treasure hunters and this was laying in a cave with other relics…

17 years ago today one of the worst storm systems hit the Gulf of Mexico. Hurricane Katrina devastated the coast, causing untold amount of damage, death tolls where in the thousands many lost till this day and reconstruction still going on 17 years later. Tess and me where blessed to help with the Red Cross and Habitat for Humanity and to this day I have never seen destruction like it. Recently our community was hit with flooding and it reminded use of Katrina…the next pic is an awesome story of one of my favorite guitarist.

Imagine graduating from high school and going straight to the military, only to find yourself in a battle that you died at. Only one year after graduating, to be pronounced MIA. Then, 70 plus years later your remains are found and brought home…our small little town had a hero come home last night, 70 years after the Korean War was over…Welcome home Cpl Donald L.
