Nepal national football team has been ranked 167th position in the latest FIFA rankings. Previously Nepal was at 169th position. With points 982.22 (increases by 9.77) Nepal is able to position itself 2 ranks higher.
Huge credit goes to the players, the head coach Almutairi and the entire team.

This years Martyrs Memorial A division league came with a great enthusiasm among the fans and it also have lived upto its expectation. The games, playing styles, tactics, broadcasting and engagements have really improved through the seasons.
Being the only league of the country, it should be aiming to improve the standards and principles of the league in order to develop Nepal's football culture. These leagues surely help the players, staffs, coaches and the administration to enhance their knowledge about the game. Football competitions and sports programs are really win-win situation for all the groups that gets involved. The players and coach get their matches, different organisations get to be a part of the game, administration gets sponsors for economic support and fans get to see their players and support the team.
So, we should be having this type of games through out the year inorder to improve and grow.

The slow left arm orthodox bowler Sagar Dhakal has been included in the mens national cricket team for their tour in Oman where they will be playing T20 WC global qualifiers and some T20i practice matches. Sagar Dhakal is a reliable and consistent with his bowling and can be a huge asset for the team. Considering the fact that Nepal is lagging with lack of left arm bowlers, Sagar's ability can be a huge advantage for the team.

Nepal mens national cricket team is today (8th Feb) to Oman for T20 WC global qualifiers starting from Feb 18, 2022. Nepal will also play some T20i before the WC qualifiers.

The solid pair.

Nepal national cricket team has always been inconsistent with the openers. Openers not getting runs and easily giving their wickets has cost Nepal so many games. Nepal wanted a solid duo who could score runs and take their innings long.
The wait final came to an end when we saw Kushal Bhurtel and Aasif Sheikh opening for the national team for the first time against Netherland in the home soil. They performed exceptionally well and raised a sight of hope for all the Nepalese cricket fan. Since then, they haven't looked back and are ready to prove their worth again.

Nepal will play against UAE and PNG in March.

As for the World Cup League 2 games Nepal will play against UAE and PNG in UAE from March 16.

Dipendra Singh Airee is the player to watch out for the T20 WC global qualifier starting from Feb 18, 2022 at Oman. Airee is a reliable middle order batsman who have the ability to strike the ball hard and even take his innings long. He has been an important part of the Nepal mens national cricket team contributing with both bath and ball. And not to forget his excellent fielding skills which surely helps the team both technically and mentally.

For Nepal in T20 internationals he has scored 477 in 24 innings with an average of 26.5 at 126.9 strike rate.

Nepal mens football team is pumped up for their next friendly (to be conformed) as a preparation for Asian Cup Qualifiers. They recently played two friendlies against Mauritius at Dashrath Rangasala infront of their home crowd. They won both the matches with 1-0 margin as Bimal Gharti Magar scored in the first game proving his worth again in his comback and Sujal Shrestha in the second game scored for the national team after 3 years.

Nepal national team has been in a good shape under the head coach Abdullah Almutairi and has provided good results with signs of positiveness and growth.

Nepal national mens cricket team is preparing for the Mens T20 WC Global Qualifiers, Oman starting from Feb 18, 2022. Before that they will be playing an (others to be conformed) 3 match practice series in Oman from Feb 11 to 14. The national team will be travelling to Oman on Feb 9.
