A Cessna 172M Skyhawk aircraft registered as RP-C6923, operated by Leading Edge International Aviation Academy, Inc., made an emergency landing shortly after takeoff from San Fernando Airport (RPUS) this morning.

JUST IN: The departure of Philippine Airlines (PAL) flight PR318 to Hong Kong from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 faced a nearly one-hour delay after the wing of the Airbus 330-300 collided with the wing of a parked China Airlines plane CI701, scheduled for departure to Taiwan at 1045H this morning. According to the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA), PAL had to switch planes to proceed with the scheduled journey. Despite the disruption, all PR318 passengers were safe and eventually resumed their travel to Hong Kong at 1329H, deviating from the original 1230H departure time. The China Airlines flight remained grounded due to the damage sustained by its right wing as of this posting.
