UPDATE
Edmée Mommeja, 24 years old
Traveller
On the way with a horse for now.
➡️ Short account of the journey, from the beginning to the current situation.
"I decided to travel with a camel, and I found one from a circus in France in beginning 2019.
We left France, from Attignat-Oncin in July 2019, for Mongolia.
The idea was to go far, learn from life, and be strong.
And be able to travel with minimal money.
Her name was Attika, 15 years old.
We walked (I was by foot) from France to Poland and spent the winter of 2019 in Poland with a woman and her son in Gabin. In central Poland.
I was able to work there for a while and I bought a horse to go with us.
Moris, 5 years old.
We were about to leave, after the winter, to continue to Mongolia.
But a few days later, my camel Attika died from an infection.
I continued for a while with my horse Moris, towards the south of Poland.
Then I found Mawamiss.
A camel, 11 years old.
Then I left again, with the horse and the camel (riding the horse, the camel taking care of luggages), to Germany to spend the winter of 2020.
Once I arrived in Germany, I decided to part with Mawamiss.
The journey together was difficult.
And it makes the whole situation uncomfortable and dangerous for everyone.
We were made to meet each other, she helped me digest the disappearance of Attika, my first camel.
She learned to become more warlike, travelling with us and facing so many new situations, and then she found the ideal home in France.
She lives in the exact place where I had the idea to go on a trip with a camel.
The circle is complete.
I've learn what I needed with these big creatures.
I can serenely continue my journey with Moris.
We will go East together.
In the spring."
➡️ Why this name of page?
I wanted to work to help society on my way.
Being in constant contact with people living in nature, I decided to ask them how they factually see climate change.
The change is there, it is concrete.
We have to adapt.
And to adapt to something, you have to know it.
Hence my approach.
Of course, there is also a preventive measure, because it is always possible to work to slow down change, too.
And so, on this page are :
➡️ Are some photos and presentations of the past camel adventure.
➡️ Testimonies of people about climate change.

Thanks to Marion Munoz for the video.
➡️ I had another FB page colled : une fille, un chameau.
But this one has been taken into possession by too many unknown people when it was only intended for the people I met along the way, my friends and family.
So I removed it to open another one, public. This one.
