February 20, 2022 at 4:45am we welcomed Aydolin Lee Williams to the world 💙 a perfectly healthy little boy and we couldn’t have asked for a better labor, we are so so blessed!
He arrived at 6lbs and 14oz, 19.25 inches long. We are overjoyed and totally in love with our little man 🥰💙🥰
Our first week as new parents has been nothing short of a roller coaster ride of emotions. Sometimes going 24 hours on only 2 hours of sleep 😅 we are slowly getting used to the sleep deprivation and being able to hold and love on our little boy makes it all worth 💙💙💙

After two years of living on the road, we had to document our first thanksgiving in our new home 🥰
We totally underestimated all the dishes we wanted to cook and spent somewhere around 8-9 hours in the kitchen cooking and baking. Next year we will definitely prepare some dishes ahead of time 😂
What was it like being pregnant on thanksgiving? Amazing!!! Taste testing food all day, eating delicious dishes made all from scratch, and finishing off the day with a homemade pumpkin chiffon pie 😋
A shoutout to .a.m.thatsgood for all the delicious recipes!
How was your thanksgiving? What was your favorite thing you ate that day???

Okay you guys!! So we’ve been hinting at this announcement for some time now and we finally had time to get dressed up and take some nice photos to share this with you all 🥰 we are expecting a baby boy in March 2022 ❤️❤️❤️
This is one of the reasons we gave up life on the road (for now) to buy a house and get a little more settled.
We couldn’t be happier and can’t wait to share this new journey with you all 🥰❤️👶

If you’re new here, this is Koda! The cutest part of our little trio 🐾 He is our traveling buddy! From North Pole, Alaska to Orlando, Florida and now Southern Utah, he’s seen it all.
He adds so much to our travels as he has a huge personality and wants to talk to everyone he sees. Without him, we probably wouldn’t meet and talk to as many people as we do!
Koda is definitely a handful but our travel experiences wouldn’t be the same without him ❤️

This is a sight I never thought I’d see!! Not only is Koda OFF-LEASH but his attention is fully on Taylor!
If you guys have been following us for a while now, you understand how big of an accomplishment this is. Koda is a high-energy, intelligent and stubborn dog. He loves to run and chase things like most dogs but he also gets tunnel vision and doesn’t listen to anything we say or yell at him while he’s running or chasing something. Even if we have his favorite treats!
But he’s now 4 1/2 years old and is finally able to hear us even when his attention is elsewhere! We still have a long ways to go with training as this trail is pretty much void of any distractions. We haven’t run into other people or animals while off-leash so we’ll see how that goes when it happens! 😂
Nonetheless, I’m pretty proud of these two 🥰

How do you feel about macro photography???
I personally LOVE it. You don’t always have epic landscapes around you everyday. But you do have little bits of beauty no matter where you are! I love slowing down for macro photography and really taking in all the interesting and unique details around me. Plus, I would totally get this second image printed and hang in my living room someday ( ya know, when we’re not living in an RV 😂 ), would you? Or do you prefer the first one?

One of the hardest hikes (if not the hardest) of our lives! I still can’t believe it’s right outside our front door. One of the reasons why we’ve loved staying in Kanab, there’s just so much to explore!
This photo was taken after the scramble up a cliff side, the shimmy along the ridge and up to flat ground. These boys were exhausted but in high spirits after realizing the rest of the hike was gonna be a breeze 😄

How do you feel about hiking?
This was our first real hike since coming to Kanab, UT and this photo is from right before things got really tough. What was supposed to be a long (8mile) but relatively easy hike, quickly turned into the hardest hike we’ve ever done!
We both love hiking but for me, it’s a fun day off, and for Taylor, well, he enjoys it while he’s doing it, but getting him to do it isn’t always easy 😂 After this hike, I think it’s going to be even harder to convince him to do the next one!
Are you more like Taylor, or me (Shannon), when it comes to hiking??? Let us know in the comments below!! 👇👇👇

Have you ever been snowshoeing before?! This last December we went to the beautiful Mt. Hood for our first time snowshoeing. Actually, Taylor didn’t wear his snowshoes because he was in charge of keeping up with Koda 😂 and we couldn’t move very fast in those things! Good thing we lived in Alaska for 4 years so he handled it like a champ, naturally 😉 it was a wonderful day spent with my family hiking all over the mountain and, of course, snapping a few photos.
Have you been to Mt. Hood before? Let us know in the comments below!

I am consistently amazed at the sights you can see just from the road. As we continued our journey west a couple of months ago, we were driving down I-80 and just happened to pull off at this rest stop. We noticed a trail and decided to see where it went. A few minutes later we learned we were looking at Echo Canyon! The views were stunning and the perfect break before hitting the road again.

Have you been to Cheyenne, Wyoming before? It’s the real deal when it comes to the Midwest vibes!
We stayed at the Terry Bison Ranch which is an awesome RV Park and active ranch! We explored the grounds checking out all the different animals who live there. Taylor even got to feed a camel!
They also have a fantastic restaurant on the grounds serving American food with Bison 🦬 as their speciality. We got the bison burgers and they were so so good!
Make sure to SAVE this post for when you’re driving through Wyoming and check out the Terry Bison Ranch for a fun time!

I think I’m more of a sunset person myself but only because that’s what I’ve seen more of haha. Whenever we do get up early enough to enjoy the sunrise, I do love it too!
These photos were also taken in Kearney, Nebraska from the trails at the Archway! Part of the trail follows along this still body of water creating the most gorgeous reflections. I was obsessed!

The Archway in Kearney, Nebraska. Have you guys been here before?!
On our journey across the country to get to the west coast by Christmas, we stopped at the Archway off I-84 merely because we saw that they allow overnight parking. We really didn’t know much else about it. The next morning on a bitter winter day we explored the many beautiful trails here and liked it so much we decided to stay a few nights.
On our last day we finally decided to go inside the Archway to check it out. And WOW! It was incredible and more than anything we could’ve expected. It’s essentially an interactive historical exhibit that takes you through time from the era of the Oregon trail to today! It was SUPER cool and if you ever find yourself driving through, make sure to stop and check it out! @ Kearney Archway

Which is your favorite ( 1 or 2 )?! Originally my favorite was the first one hands down.. but now I’m leaning towards the second one. Taylor says it’s impossible to pick haha.
These photos are also of the same waterfall! The first vantage point you can see is a very short jaunt up a hill and the second one is a little bit of a steeper and longer hill going down. It’s totally worth it to see it from both views! But be warned, you WILL get a little wet going down closer to it. 😅

Which one is your favorite (1, 2 or 3)?!
These are photographs of a waterfall along the Columbia Gorge in Oregon called Horsetail Falls. The hike to get to it is short but steep! About 1 mile round trip. It’s totally worth it as there is a cave right behind the waterfall where you can sit and watch the water with a view of the gorge in the background (see pic 3)! It’s stunning! If you look closely at the second photo here, you can see Koda exploring the cave 🐕

The Columbia Gorge has a total of 90 waterfalls on the Oregon side alone! There’s the famous Multnomah Falls of course but also a bunch of other fantastic waterfalls worth checking out like this one here: Latourell Falls. If you’re planning a trip to the Portland area and you love hiking, definitely check out the Columbia Gorge for some great trails and spectacular views!

Our Top 9 most-liked posts of the year! Going through these memories leaves me with mixed feelings, a bitter sweetness that, admittedly, is more bitter than sweet. Appreciation for the adventures we had and new places we saw but also a deep sadness that it only lasted a few months before traveling no longer seemed safe. Just as things were taking off, just as the road seemed a little clearer and our path started to unfold, everything changed.
Oh 2020... what is there to say about this year that hasn’t already been said. A trying time for most, where dreams died and new dreams were born. On this last day of 2020 I am grieving for what could have been, what should have been... but after today, no more. It’s a New Year, a new beginning, and with whatever 2021 has in store for us, whether it’s more of the same, things get worse, or everything gets better, I look forward to it with hope in my heart and an optimistic outlook for the future.
How are you feeling on the last day of this unforgettable year? Let us know below and Happy New Year everyone ❤️

The Georgia Guidestones or an “American Stonehenge” is a granite monument anonymously erected in 1980. A list of ten controversial (to say the least) “guidelines” or what some people call “new commandments” are inscribed on each slab in the 8 most common languages around the world. The stones function as a compass, calendar and clock! You can find a lot more information about this place on the internet if you’re interested. Who knew something like this existed in rural Georgia?! Have you ever heard of this place? Been here before or now wanna go? Let us know in the comments below 👇👇👇

18/11/2020

Did you guys know this place exists in Georgia?! In Southeast Georgia is the Providence Canyon State Park also known as “the little Grand Canyon of Georgia.” It’s a really beautiful place that was created by poor farming practices back in the day which eroded the land to form these canyons. So keep that in mind as you enjoy the beauty here! Also, don’t make our mistake and go on the 7 mile hike if you only want to see the canyons. Although it’s a very nice hike, albeit a bit challenging, you actually don’t have any views of the canyons til about the last 1/4 mile which is also very close to the visitor center... not to mention the HUGE spiders that show up out of NOWHERE on the trail 😫 we each literally almost walked into two different ones... the one pictured here is actually SMALLER than the one Taylor almost walked into! So be aware 🕷
There are many different trails to hike that will actually take you through the floors of the canyons and a few to all the view points which we were too tired to do after our long (kinda scary) hike 🤦‍♀️ definitely chat with the people at the visitor center to help you decide which trail is best for you!
What are some hiking fails you’ve experienced?! Let us know below 👇👇👇

After 8 months of beautiful Florida weather we finally said goodbye and headed a little ways North into Georgia and found Autumn! Although we loved the palm trees, the warm summer nights, and the infinite amount of vitamin D, I think it’s safe to say we would prefer to live somewhere with seasons... part of our travel journey is to explore and figure out where we might want to live when we do settle down (if we ever do) and I think we can cross Florida off our list. Would you prefer to live somewhere with four seasons? Or almost always beautiful weather? Let us know in the comments 😊👇👇👇

Swipe —> which one is your favorite macro shot?! (1, 2, 3 or 4?)
My photography has always been mostly inspired by travel. I bought my first camera before Taylor and I moved to Alaska 6 years ago to document our journey. So when travel was put on hold I was quite uninspired and for a while photography was put on the back burner. No more mountains and expansive views with stunning landscapes, no more daily adventures with surprises around every bend. Just hunkering down and waiting for things to be safe for travel again. Months passed and I was missing my camera A LOT. So I decided to start going on “photography walks.” My macro lens is my favorite lens and it was perfect for these mini adventures! I’ve debated whether or not to share the outcome of these walks on here because we’re all about travel on this page... But these four in particular make me smile and I just love them. So maybe they’ll make you guys smile too 😄
Also, we’re finally back on the road! So travel content to resume soon 😉 thanks for sticking around guys!!
