...and we are done. Assassin's Creed Mirage story + all achievements done! 25hrs game time.

I have to say, the protagonist... looks like J-kun and it feels weird doing assassinations, and pickpocketing with that face. :D

As always, AC Mirage is inspired by historical events, this one is from Baghdad. And as always, the weird stuff is always added at the end of the story campaign.

As usual the formula of Ubi games, lots of collectibles, side quests and missions all over the map.

You'll read/hear/see some negative comments about the game, but I think it's fun. See, people need to stop overthinking things. Every game has it's own perks. It always have a story to tell and game mechanics to make it fun to play. Just play the game, stop thinking like you are some expert and you'll enjoy it more. Also, YOU CAN PET CATS!! Isn't that amazing?!

Overall, very enjoyable. Although, I kinda predicted about Nehal midgame. hohoho.

Best char is of course Basim, because he looked like J-kun. :D

Yey! FFXII - TZA finally done. All achievements unlocked! :)

Ok, so I have an issue. The protagonist... Vaan, after the first few chapters.. became a side character. fr fr. The story really, in a sense, forgot about the protagonist. I mean, it wasn't really about him. It's more political. I honestly think that the story will still suffice if they started right away with Princess Ashe as the protagonist. Now now, I don't hate Vaan, he may have just been accidentally forgotten. Or, the story is from his 'perspective'. He has very few lines, very few/minor interactions during cutscenes or story. He is too ordinary, like a side character. Oh well.

The game is great. Since I played FFXIV first, I saw lots, and I mean lots, of referrences from FFXII. From raids to dungeons, even mobs.
I didn't play/checked FFXI but here, the cutscenes are awesomely beautiful. For me, this is the first step where FF started modernizing their graphics and gameplay. Amazing.

Best Girl, almost Princess Ashe, but no, Fran is too cool.

Alright -- Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin + DLC1 Plat'd.

Amazing game as expected. Story is great but I somehow predicted the ending (probably because I have too much FF experience). Stories that somehow involving "memories" will always be confusing. Everything will only makes sense at the end.

Graphics is amazing. Combat/Combo mechanics is crazy. Combat mechanics is somewhat the same as God of War where there are "finishers". So basically, you need to break their 'shield' which then enables you to do a 'finisher'.

Build crafting is INSANE, for real. Imagine 35 different jobs, around 5 skills each + 8~ish affinity bonuses. You'll have to sit down grab some pen to craft/plan an effective build. Although, the main game + DLC1 can be cheesed to be much easier. BUT the DLC2 removes that cheese so everything is just... too hard. You'll have to grind a lot to find the best gears with the right affinity and stats for your build. I gave up. :) I'm happy clearing main game + DLC1 trophies for now. I'll just get back to the DLC2 and DLC3 trophies when I'm on the grinding mood again.

Best girl, Princess Sarah. She's tough.
Best NPC, of course, Gilgamesh. He is still stupid here. :D
Scariest NPC, well... tonberry. They are cute, small and slow creatures holding a knife and lantern. Slowly walking towards you. Yep, scary.

Woo!! I'll be back to finish DLC2 and DLC3 but for now... GG!

Alright, finally completely absolutely done with FFX / FFX-2 / FFX-2 Last Mission + all achievements.

Overall game time would be around 120 hrs. I've already made a post on FFX, so this one will be for FFX-2 and FFX-2 Last Mission.

[FFX-2]
While the gameplay/mechanics is somewhat similar to FFX, it is still quite different. The Turn-based battle system is the same but heavy based on Agility/ATB (by default at least, you can change it to "WAIT" in settings). Storywise, honestly, it is mostly about Yuna's coping story from what happened in FFX. And, most of the side story/side character's story revolves around... *drumroll* THE POWER OF LOVE!! *ughh neck suddenly itchy*.

Also, NGL, i needed to use a mod to change voice language to JPN as it made more sense that way, but after a few hours the game started crashing. So, in the end I had to go default and that is English Voice. Sound's unnatural TBH.

Anyway, chasing after the trophy for FFX-2 was a pain, if you plan to chase after all the trophies, YOU NEED A WALKTHROUGH/GUIDE. As there are lots of missable actions/responses even from chapter 1, that could cost you the trophy. "The Last Guardian" trophy is still the most painful but this one is a close 2nd.

Oh yeah, Best couple: Dona X Barthello.

[FFX-2 Last Mission]
A different game. From a turn-based, to a Tactical RPG gameplay. Yes, and luckily it is short, short in a way that you only have to climb the 80-floors tower full of fiends. :)

Trophy was based on floor reach. (e.g. reach Floor 20, 40, 60, 80). Only 1 other trophy that is a secret and highly missable.

Story for Last Mission is mostly about the friendship/bonding of YRP. :)

All-in-all a great achievement for me to completely finish everything the game has to offer. Square, thank you for the experience. So far, Squee never disappoints.

What if... after everything... you saw, you learned, you felt, you did.. and in the end, nothing was real... what if, YOU were actually someone else's dream? :D

So, I already have a slight idea of the game pre-remastered. My couz was already playing this while I'm still on gameboy rockin' pokemon yellow. :D So glad I finally finished this game after so many years.

Spent around 56hrs~ to achieve all achievements for FFX. Story 10/10 no issues there. Gameplay is turn-based. There's also this "Sphere Grid" system that made my head hurt the first time I opened it.

Funny story, just before the last boss, I went to work on the rest of the trophies (meaning: full Sphere Grid, Celestial Weapons, all side quests, BLITZBALL (please! no more blitzball), secret achievements, optional superbosses). And, even with just the full Sphere Grid + Celestial Weapons, it made my characters SOO STRONG, TOO STRONG, that the final bosses were just 3-5 hits. Yes, it was anti-climatic, Ahahaha yes, I overdid it. :D

The Last of Us Part II -- done and Plat'd! :)

I achieved plat with 1.5 playthroughs, 40hrs in total.

[I can't construct my thoughts properly so pending for now]

The ending did not hint (or I may just not noticed it) any sign of a sequel but based on the story so far, the infected is still present (although this was NOT the focus of Part 2 at all). Except for Ellie's personal problems... Nothing was solved really, in fact it got even worse. So, a sequel is possible.

Well, great experience. Hopefully my Clicker nightmares would stop after this. hahaha....huhuhu..

Final Fantasy VIII Remastered (PC) - done. :)

Remastered version included some accessibility options like 3x gamespeed, or the no encounters option. Abusing this when I can, I managed to finish the game around 43 hours of gameplay.

Of course, i got the all the cards, ultimate weapons of each character and all (but one, yes, I missed one apparently) sidequests.

Graphics, still feels old. Cutscenes looked nice. Gameplay, triple triad card game got me crazy. some cards are just so rare, NPCs dont use them. Some rules are obviously favors the NPCs.

Story, well... it's good but i feel like there's lots of details lacking. I know this game has been out for a while now but I'm still hoping Square would release a side story that shows/explains these lacking details that I'm missing. :D

Best Girl:
Selphie - when I saw her piloting the ship.. Yep, best girl right there.

Best GF:
Griever - yeeeeep.

The Last of Us Remastered - done. but sadly can't get the plat. The PS4 platinum requires Multiplayer trophies which is weirdly not working for me. (I'm assuming the servers are down now or something). I'm so sad.

Anyway. I can finally see where people saying this is an "amazing game" are coming from. It is amazing.

For the plat attempt, I had to do 3 playthroughs (technically 2.5). Normal-Survivor+-Easy (just needed to upgrade the last weapon that's available midgame.) All-in-all 35hrs game time. More if I can get the multiplayer mode to work.

Best Moments:
Ellie's jokes -- come on, those were hilarous jokes. I don't understand Joel's reactions at all. :D
Hunting as Ellie -- Yes.
Bill and Ellie's bantering -- so funny.
Tsundere Joel moments - yes, dude.

Toughest moments:
-Survivor+ playthough. RESOURSES! WHERE THE HECK ARE THE MATS?! I have almost 0 ammo / healthpack every major encounters. T'was painful
-That friggin sniper (with Sam and Henry). He's too accurate and quick to kill me.
-Clickers -- everytime they appear. dang it.

Best girl: Ellie nuff said

Gonna try to chase after the multiplayer trophies for the plat before Left Behind and Part II. Lets goo!

Soulstice - done. Spent around 15hrs.

Nice game. it has similar gameplay as Bayonetta (i think) where each encounter/fights are graded.

Cutscenes are cool 10/10. Story is very nice actually.

The ending obviously hints a sequel (or a DLC).

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart -- done and plat'd

It's the same game as the previous title with new stuff. 1 new universe and, with it, new biomes, enemies, counterparts of some characters (including Ratchet and Clank's counterparts which are Rivet and Kit). New weapons which means new gameplays.

the platinum trophy chase was easy. Nothing to really grind on, except for 1 or 2 trophies. Collectibles are easy shown on map so it saved me time to look for them. All in all, took me 15hrs to get plat.

Best girl this time is Glitch. She so cute.

Not sure if the ending scene hinted the next sequel. Oh well.
Very nice game. Thanks for the experience.

and so, it's done. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom completed!

I can say that I have played, and enjoyed, this 3x more than the price I paid (+delivery). I completed the 152 shrines, completely mapped the Depths. Korok-- no, 1000 Korok seeds is just madness. I fought and experienced the different mini bosses, upgraded barbarian set to max, and I had 155+ hrs of gameplay. Totally worth it.

Gameplay is not much different from BOTW. New powers, new enemies, .. of course, new puzzles from shines. Same map with some changes + 2 new maps (sky and depths). Perfect Dodge and Perfect Parry still there which is a big + for me. Oh, and yes new armors.

I want to mention that Zelda in JP voice is amazing. I did not try EN at all, but the JP Zelda was so good, I almost had her as best girl.. But nah, Riju still won. :)

Best companion for me, as mentioned, is Riju. I mean, dual blades + lightning. nuff said.
Best NPCs for me are Master Kohga and OF COURSE! Addison my dude!
Best Girl will forever be Mipha. Nothing to add. Just Mipha.

The ending felt like it's totally the end. No hints (that I noticed) for another sequel. GG!

Curious, for those who are fans of the legend of zelda, is Zelda's background consistent across the older games? Like, is she a Sage of Time from older games too?
