Our Table for 3 The Meat Wine and Co, CBR

It’s been a while since we dined here and despite my ongoing skin issues making restaurant outings tricky lately, I was determined to satisfy my cravings. I have also been changing my weekly diet blah blah blah! So I deserve this 🤣🥹

The pork belly appetizer is a must-order, if I wasn’t looking out for my gut health & skin! I would go for the tasting platter 😂 and while Meat Wine Co. is known for steaks, the Portuguese marinated chicken is my favourite.
The flavours from the chicken and burnt corn purée, braised kale, white beans, crispy pancetta, and redcurrant jus is phenomenal & I will keep coming back for it! 🤪

Marcus was craving their Angus beef burger and fries, and our daughter enjoyed the kid’s mac and cheese.

To finish off my “Cheat Day” - I ordered the Biscoff and date cake and this was amazing!

Also 👍 to Thanushi for the great service & to Mitch for helping us reserve table last minute 😍 sarap nang biscoff cake mo girl!

This was our first time to enter & dine .cbr

We liked the interior and all the art deco as soon as you walk in. We didn’t realise how big this place was until it came to paying the bill and saw the other side. Great place for big groups.

We tried their Yum Cha set menu ($48pp) and enjoyed all the dishes.

Loved the prawn toast and all the dumplings were nice and fresh.

Omg those black & gold salted egg lava buns were so good!
Hubz just stopped me from ordering more 😂

The service was also great 👍

I think I will bring our Syd Fam here when they next visit, they would love it here.

Our table for 3 at in Belconnen

Marcus enjoyed his bowl of rare beef &brisket tai nam though he said it was a little on the sweet side.

I usually go for the pork chop and broken rice.

The fact is I am not much of a Pho eater so the basis if we shall return to any viet resto is not on the Pho but actually based on the pork chops 😂

1. Marinated well and Taste good
2. Sizing of the porkchop
3. How many pcs of pork (1 or 2) 🥹

Can Tho’s Pork Chop with Broken rice was really yummy and so we will come back to eat here again 😂😂

Their chicken wings was good too!

We like the food and service at Inari, totally worth the money 😍 We decided to take my sister and mum here during their visit and they enjoyed it too.

Menu recently changed and was sad to see no more miso cream scallops but Hubs was happy to see its now Mussels cause thats his favourite ☺️

Mum and I are fans of tempura so we were happy to see it on the new menu.

Love the crunch on the kara-age chicken which is always in our order list since the little girl loves her chicken.

First time to order the pork ribs and won’t be the last.
The maple teriyaki glaze was good 🤤

Part 2 - I Was going through my photo albums on my phone and saw all these plated meals I would make for Avery especially when she first started Baby Led Weaning at 7 months. Thought I would share as inspo for anyone wanting to do baby led weaning with their kids.

I miss those times when she would eat all of what’s on her plate. Now she still can finish her plate if she likes her meals but if she’s not feeling it there would be some “eww” “it’s so sour” “no fank you” remarks while eating 🙄

When your kid takes up 40% of your weekly grocery budget 🤦🏻‍♀️ these are just snacks or fillers for her usual bento lunches.

She is always asking for cookies, fruits or says I am hungry!

Don’t care if it’s not the healthiest she eats well most parts of the day & ain’t wasting money on snacks she don’t eat, we tried that already 🤣

Looked at her snack cabinet this morning and saw she’s finished her packets of popcorn and we just got that last weekend 🤔

Turned leftover Pasta from the other night into another type of pasta dish 😂
We added in some béchamel sauce and baked it in the oven.

Avery helped make the sauce in the reels posted.

She also helped make the quick and easy pizzas with Macdaddy’s help.

This is our dinner tonight and Yay 🙌 we finally finished with all the left overs in the fridge! Woohoo can finally cook something new tomorrow! 😂

Cooking Mama ako kanina. Took advantage in the kitchen while Avery was occupied playing with sand and making a mess on the dining table.

Cooked Ginisang Gulay with veggies and some pork & chicken adobo. Kita kits tayo sa weekend adobo, mas masarap Ka in a few Days time 😂
