Did you know that roundabouts are safer than traditional intersections? According to a study by the IIHS, the modern roundabout is proven to reduce severe crashes and injuries by up to 75% at intersections that were previously controlled by stop signs or traffic signals. The reason for this is that roundabouts force drivers to drive slower and pay more attention. The nature of a roundabout means that there are no lights to beat and one way traffic all around.

No matter how you feel about roundabouts, we should all take time to appreciate their safety and efficiency.
