Researchers from Princeton University and the University of Washington are the people behind this one-of-a-kind camera, which is about the size of a grain of salt.
The camera is no bigger than a grain of salt. But it can still capture objects in close distance in high detail.
According to experts, previously released micro-cameras were impressive in size but not when it came to photo quality. Many of them produced blurry and fuzzy images of even close distance objects.
But that's not the case with the one developed by the researchers of the two aforementioned universities. The salt grain-sized camera had managed to capture objects in stunning detail and full colour. According to the researchers, it's at par with a conventional compound camera lens.
