A few years ago I had the pleasure of hosting an Album Release Party for an Artist with a vision bigger than himself. The project was called "Black Lives Matter" and touched on all of the themes that we are still seeing play out. This was over 5 years ago and his message continues to ring true. In the years since the show, I've personally watched Chris Jackson () separate and elevate. He saw an opportunity to guide the Artists with no direction and he ran with it. Over the past few years I've personally watched Big Business () elevate his game to another level. I met him as a Hip-Hop Artist but he's since put on an amazing Web Series titled "What's Real Hip-Hop" that was vital in the progression of the music scene in Tampa Bay. He incorporated area artists into his film "20/20 Vision" and he followed that up with his "Transition Talks" platform which brings weekly messages to the masses. He's not afraid to be great and he wants his events to have purpose. We spoke about that in great detail and also about his 1st event of the year (202ONE) and the difficulties the pandemic brought to the forefront.

REH REK AKA REKLESS () is a hip-hop artist out of St. Petersburg, FL. He's been putting in work and paying his dues for decades now! His new project "As Long As I Live And Breathe" was just released on 10/20/20 and I got a moment to talk with him about it and how his sound has evolved over the years. We spoke briefly on his music label, Authentic Core Music Group, and balancing the dynamics of each artist under it's umbrella. We also got into life and how he's been maintaining with the pandemic, politics and the police being so invasive.
