Today, we commemorate the 4th anniversary of the release of "Admitted," - the film that has emerged as a pivotal documentary on transgender education and human rights in Modern Indian cinema. In a span of 22 weeks, Rabb Di Awaaz is unstoppable as India's first multi-inclusive Hindi feature film, which packs a dose of entertainment and slice of life with kneading thoughts on mental health, depression, disability, and inclusivity in modern-day life. To date, more than half a million (5 lac+) audiences with all forms of abilities have experienced the film in screening venues, theatres, and in digital format—on television, tablets, mobile devices, and video streaming services—including in-person screenings at universities, colleges, and schools across 15 cities/villages in 3 states and 2 UTs.
The film has reached more than 20,000+ audiences including learners with special needs through screenings in Chandigarh, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, and New Delhi within 5 months of its release since its world premiere on 28th December 2023 in Chandigarh.

The momentum is simply unstoppable as the film continues to be seen and experienced by audiences worldwide on the YouTube platform. Rabb Di Awaaz has witnessed an unprecedented response on the big screen across universities, colleges, schools, and theaters in North India.
In June, Rabb Di Awaaz will have its mega screening at the Heritage Gaiety Theatre in Shimla, along with screenings in the coming months at Army Schools across North India under the Western Command, and various schools and institutions across cities in India, extending further to Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Jammu.

Rabb Di Awaaz has been directed by the National Award-winning film director Ojaswwee Sharma, who received the Rajat Kamal National Award at the 68th National Film Awards for "Admitted."
Filmed entirely in the landscape of the Chandigarh and Tricity Region, Rabb Di Awaaz is a step by the makers to highlight inclusive and empathetic storytelling through the medium of cinema. The film debuts Shiv Kumar Sharma, a legal and disability activist who is visually impaired along with Abhinav Sharma, and many well-known people and actors from the Tricity region, who bring genuineness and authenticity to the film which has been received with aplomb throughout.
Rabb Di Awaaz is available to be seen with Hindi and English subtitles, as well as to be experienced with Hindi Audio Description for the visually impaired and Indian Sign Language for the hearing impaired.

The film is the recipient of the Best Film 2024 award by the Media Federation of India and the Public Relations Council of India for achieving excellence in being India's first multi-inclusive film. The award was given by Acharya Devvrat, Hon’ble Governor of Gujarat, India. Rabb Di Awaaz has also been awarded the Best Film on Disability 2024 this year at the World Film Festival Cannes Online Edition.

The film has received letters of commendation from the Indian Films & Television Directors Association, Mumbai, the Institute of the Blind, Chandigarh, and the USIRC (United States India Relationship Council), further underlining its relevance and impact on a global scale.

1. In a span of just over 100 days "Rabb Di Awaaz"- India's first Multi-Inclusive Hindi Feature Film has received an exceptional response during screenings from audiences representing diverse backgrounds.

The response to the film and the turnout at the screenings to experience the film is just 𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐄𝐑 𝐄𝐗𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐎𝐑𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐑𝐘! ⭐

2. The screenings held so far have not been limited to showcasing to persons with disabilities but also catered to a large segment of cine-goers seeking a fine blend of 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐦𝐚.

2a. This includes a general film audience across all ages, individuals with visual impairments, hearing impairments, orthopaedic impairments, and children with special needs such as autism, cerebral palsy, intellectual disabilities, and Down syndrome.

2b. Additionally, the screenings reached underprivileged girls and boys, individuals living in shelter homes and NGOs, communication professionals, and rural and urban students, including those from schools, professional colleges, and universities.

2c. The screenings also attracted students from schools for the blind, and deaf schools, rehabilitation centers, Army schools, future educators, and nation builders from colleges, universities, and research institutes.

3. 𝐑𝐚𝐛𝐛 𝐃𝐢 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐚𝐳 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝟏𝟎,𝟎𝟎𝟎+ gross viewers across North India including the underprivileged, the future leaders, educators, and emerging changemakers of India, and is expected to 𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝟐𝟓,𝟎𝟎𝟎+ 𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 count by June 2024.
All screenings are being documented, photographed, and video-recorded by the producer and being shared on social media.
