We need your help! Bandioke 2023 is currently homeless after a change of East Lothian Council policy. We know how much you all love Bandioke, we've got lots of singers signed up and a banging setlist ready to be rehearsed. Can you help us find a venue? November 10th or 11th, and needs to take 300-500 people. We'd be happy to put a marquee on a field if there is one out there suitable. Old 45's will be spinning at the Cross Keys Inn, Ettrickbridge tomorrow, but I'm just the butter in a fabulous club sandwich of events for all!

You'll hear actual, old records that just don't get played very often. Peppered with the snap, crackle and pop of a previously enjoyed disc, from 1940s 78s to 45s as late as 1969. Mainly the vinyl that time forgot. Plenty of real Rhythm & Blues, Jazz, soul and early British beat group no-hits, plus the music that led to the beat boom, and similarly aged platters. Ye Ye, foreign language tracks, Hammond organ tunes and more. Free from the restrain of any kind of dance floor continuity, the Pretty Things could easily be sandwiched between Benny Goodman and Sylvie Vartan.

Come on over! Chef Ash will be in the house!
