Due to illness and technical issues beyond our control, we are behind in our production of the Haunted Southern Illinois audio; HOWEVER, we are excited to share these stories in an eZine that you can read exclusively on our website while we work through this delay. We are so grateful for the three wonderful authors we are featuring in this special publication, and urge you to take a look at their work and check back for the audio.

👻Happy Halloween🎃
Let's start the day by shouting out some Southern Illinois Horror authors...

You may know Author Tyson Hanks from then interview he did with us for our first volume. He is the author of several books, including Head Wounds and Greetings From Barker Marsh pictured below.
About Greetings From Barker Marsh: Every town has a dark secret; Barker Marsh , Illinois has them all.A drifter's encounter with a local homeless man convinces him that the town of Barker Marsh, and the people in it, aren't what they seem…and neither is he..

Josh Woods (https://joshwoodsauthor.com/) is the host of The Monster Professor podcast and an English professor at Kaskaskia College, but he is also the author of The Black Palace and short story collection O Monstrous World!
About The Black Palace: The Black Palace—some have called it a hidden fortress, others a labyrinth of myth, a trackless mystery. And even the witches, who built it and keep it shut, fear that through the ages it has come alive. But tonight, a field agent in the Witchfinders Union leads her supernatural SWAT team on a raid inside to find one of their own. Yet once across that uncanny threshold, they must confront another world of grand secrets, where strange destinies are woven with theirs, where other desires are at work. They soon learn that you don’t get into the Black Palace unless it wants you in, and the same goes for getting out.

Last but not least, you can't go wrong with one of these spooky books from Tony Thompson-Author !
About Midnight in Varosliget: What happens when a nostalgic Vampire, a neurotic Werewolf, and a Mummy with an IQ of 200 meet at Midnight in Varosliget park? It's October, and Pentele Sandor, the world's most powerful vampire is ending a self-imposed ten-year fast. Gathering together, the three lifelong companions hope to renew their friendship at Midnight in Varosliget.
