As I’m setting up for the convention this , this photo encapsulates a lot of where I’ve been and where I’m going.

I got to serve my country during a time where we felt United. I went to boot camp a solid year before the towers fell—and I’m grateful to have that experience in my life, and the blessing of being able to come back home.

For the last 5-years ish—I’ve been serving veterans via this non-profit life … empowering veterans to live high-quality lives with respect and dignity.

For the last 9 months solid; I’ve been getting to know Jesus and serving the Lord and the church. I picked up this shirt at the (really cool community engagement) after hearing a dope testimony … and it really embraces what I’ve been about for as long as I can remember.

I’ll always be of service; I’m ready to slow down and serve my family…

I get to serve. I have a lot of friends that don’t have this opportunity anymore.

I don’t want to make that mistake.
