NRM carder and youth Chairman seeking 8 Million shillings for cancer treatment

Samuel Wandowo, a resident Zadoki cell, Wakwaba central ward, industrial City division Mbale City is seeking 8 Million shillings for cancer treatment.

Samuel who is an NRM carder, the youth Chairman of Wakwamba Central in Mbale City and the defense secretary for Zadoki cell.

He says it started as a small back problem but later escalated into cancer
"Back ache started hurting me and I started swallowing Pain killing for three months but the situation worsened and I went to Mbale Municipal Health Center to see the surgical Doctor". He said.

After consultation they found out that he had developed four swelling and it needed operation.

It was later discovered that he has a swelling on the re**um and he referred to Kolonyi Hospital Salem, and was operated and the reffed to Mulago for further medication.

After a week he was taken to Kolonyi for a review and results indicated that he had Cancer.

It was also discovered that his cells would develop and die prematurely and was referred to Mulago cancer institute for tests.

"I was given a referral letter to Cancer institute Mulago and when I reached Mulago I was subjected to tests of Blood tests, Liver test and Re**um test".

"Results Indicated the I had re**um cancer and Liver clots.I was told it needs chemotherapy treatment and if resistant I was told they would just paralyze the cancer cells after an operation." he said.

He now needs 8 Million shillings for treatment. He as called all those who have caring to help him raise the money.

Uganda basketball team in Kigali could be disqualified due to poverty

The Silverbacks, Uganda’s national basketball team currently knocking odds in the Afro-Basketball championships in Kigali, Rwanda is at the mercy of the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) due to impecuniousness.

The silverbacks have made the nation proud going against odds to beat Cameroon and have a neck-to-neck game with South Sudan at the ongoing competitions in Kigali, Rwanda.

However, the team is too broke that they are currently living on credit in the neighboring state.

In a letter from the President of Uganda’s Basketball’s Federation, Nasser Sserunjogi, he confirmed.“We have run out of excuses and we are afraid of being embarrassed. We have tried as much as possible to keep this away from the team such that they can focus on playing the game, however, we have run out of time,” Sserunjogi said.
