STREETS IS DEAD!

Back for another episode of The Black DadCast! As always we open the show with fatherhood updates and John explains to us his introduction to waking up early to get his son to school. Is too much confidence a bad thing? We asked that question after we all watched the interview from Sha’Carri Richardson after she took a loss at her last race. We discuss how we plan on instilling confidence and hard work to our kids if they decide to get into sports. Lastly, we discuss the prospects of being single in today’s society after reading reports of Dell and Sonya Curry getting divorced. Socks Charred To Ash

We’re back like Jordan wearing the 4-5. To open up season 3 we discuss our early memories of Father’s Day and what it meant to us versus what it means to us now. We talk acceptable Father’s Day gifts and what not to get. ERCOT and tin foil hat conspiracies also come up in discussion. We discuss time versus money and how we grapple with balancing both of these concepts. Lastly, we give our playoff predictions and who’s bringing home the chip this July.

We also discuss the verdict of the Chauvin trial and the aftermath following it. Lastly, we discuss the season finale of Snowfall.

Another day, another mass shooting and cop killing. Last week we discussed our interactions with the police on the heels of the chauvin trial and now we discuss yet another killing at the hands of the police — we are tied. After another mass shooting took place and more lives were lost at a FedEx, we ask the question of how black people are able to adjust to obstacles and adversity compared to other races when they are faced with the same. Always ending on a lighter note, we discuss our weekly dad stories and is the success of Snowfall sustainable after last week’s episode.
