ATTENTION MUSIC REVIEW COMMUNITY

This has to stop! This is the exact reason why I snap on review shows and are so skeptical about supporting a lot of them. One word Professionalism! So here’s the story behind this guys platform. I send in a PayPal to get played, but however it was my fault that I forgot to put a comment on it so he could find my record. Big deal. The next thing I did was comment multiple times to let him know I sent the record and what track to play. Of coarse he doesn’t see any of that. So I say “send my money back then”. He sees that comment and responds “I’ll send it back I don’t need your money, and you don’t run this platform.” He continues while clearly upset addressing the issue stating that “I’m trying to get you ni**as played I don’t need to play your track”. So no problem I send a request for my money back. He then comments on my reply and say “PayPal or Cash app”. At this point I was over it so I reply directly to him and give the title song and name again. He says I got you & moves on. I stay for an extra 20 mins to see if he’d play it no play he’s in the “free line”. So I send a msg saying I never received my funds and no reply. I just want to say this... as a platform on any social media there’s a thing called moderation that you have to be on top of. Most of y’all suck at keeping up with your chat. Which is why you have few ppl actually enjoying the content. Another problem is you don’t actually know who’s in your chat. For example you were talking to me like some bum on the street. When I’m actually on a WORLD TOUR right now, Reality Tv Show, Tv Commercials, Billboards, 54 iHeartRadio Stations, Distribution from Chris & Irv Gotti, works with producers like DJ L.E.S (Nas - Illmatic Album), DJ Symphony (Wu-Tang), Engineers that have mixed for Aliyah, Lil Pump, Famous Dex, Bobby Valentino, Future, Bad Bunny, Taylor Swift, Bwa etc.

Point is Im not some random rookie trying to get heard but an actual supporter and leader within this community. If you are seeing this post please share to get the word out to other artists and producers so they know how not to be in this industry! Thank you !

Edit: he ended up playing my record after ppl were in his comments! Which is cool but not cool, I just wanted my money back instead he went the extra mile to play it. Everybody in the chat was rocking with it AS ALWAYS! I just hope for future reference this does not happen to any artists. I’m not here to bring nobody down but no one I repeat NO ONE should have to go through all that trouble. Imagine if I didn’t have the ppl on my side what then ? I’ve seen ppl say he gives money back but that’s not the point either how you treat your audience is everything. All we ask for is respect !

Open Mic is a live music review show hosted by JPryme & TT. We will be accepting music of all kinds as entries to be reviewed by us and the audience. Our shows will be Saturdays 7pm to 9pm est and Sundays 6pm to 8pm est you can submit your music at [email protected] the lines may be long so unless you want to ride out with us you can skip the line by paying $5.00 Cashapp only to $JPryme22. We will post flyers as promotion during the weeks of our shows (if we do not post or share a flyer that week we will not be live that weekend). We ONLY accept submissions during live hours so starting at 7pm EST on saturdays and 6pm EST on sundays. As other have done before us we are trying to build a great community of musicians and people who just love music share us around and when we go live enjoy!
