KANAMUGIRE: Much as there are valid concerns over alcohol abuse among Rwandan youth, imposing curfew in the name of curbing the scourge is not the answer.
The rules will hurt business and much needed 24-hour economy while failing to address the root cause of the problem.

Drug and alcohol abuse among Rwandan youth, like other social issues such as indecent dressing and rising teen pregnancy cases which lately preoccupied this society have, in my view, a lot to do with gaps in parenting and education system that is wanting in quality.

Rwanda's rural Districts miss out on $1.3 billion worth of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) inflow recorded between 2016 and 2022.
