They allege the firm hijacked summit agenda, claims officials deny

Civil Society Organisations said the summit agenda was unduly influenced by McKinsey and Company, US-based consultancy firm seen as pushing agenda of Western powers and corporations it represents.

KANAMUGIRE: Much as there are valid concerns over alcohol abuse among Rwandan youth, imposing curfew in the name of curbing the scourge is not the answer.
The rules will hurt business and much needed 24-hour economy while failing to address the root cause of the problem.

Drug and alcohol abuse among Rwandan youth, like other social issues such as indecent dressing and rising teen pregnancy cases which lately preoccupied this society have, in my view, a lot to do with gaps in parenting and education system that is wanting in quality.

Rwanda's rural Districts miss out on $1.3 billion worth of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) inflow recorded between 2016 and 2022.

Districts of the capital namely Gasabo, Kicukiro and Nyarugenge accounted for 81 per cent of FDI projects, 72 per cent of investments, and 82 per cent of projected jobs over the period 2016–2022.
