Pride month is long gone and that’s why I waited before making this post, cause Pride is a 365 days per year kinda thing. Of course it’s about celebrating ourselves. But it’s also about being seen. With our similarities and our differences.

In a perfect world, the act of “coming out” wouldn’t exist, as no one would make assumptions about another person’s s*xual preference or gender identity. If coming out is not something you feel comfortable with, regardless of the reason, that is completely valid.

You know yourself, your situation, and your boundaries better than anyone else, and are therefore best equipped to make decisions for yourself.

There is no right or wrong time to come out. Some people come out in their childhood and some don’t come out until their 80’s or 90’s! Some people never come out.

No matter if or when you decide to come out, you deserve love and support just the same as anyone else.

Each person has his/her/their own, unique journey when it comes to body image. Even the starting point of this journey can be different. Especially with the context of the q***r community body images issues are often linked with mental and eating disorders. In this episode I had the chance to talk with Chris about some common experiences and our personal journeys with body image growing up. This is us being open. This is us being extra vulnerable. I hope people can relate with what we’re discussing. I hope people are more aware and conscious of the consequences of their words and actions.

This is dedicated to all those who have been accused of having a body that does not conform to the societal norms. This is dedicated to all the ignorant people who have their own journey with life and for some reasons chose to hurt someone for being too big or too skinny or too hairy or not hairy enough.
This is dedicated to the little me in the last picture who was called fat and other similar nasty words back then by fellow classmates, “friends”, relatives and other acquaintances. You are strong and you have a pure, loving heart.

I started with the idea of creating my own podcast earlier in January and put it on my ToDos for 2022.

I was triggered by interesting and fun conversations I had with friends in Amsterdam and Athens around relationships, s*x and other societal topics.

“It’d be so cool if someone could hear that” I kept saying to myself after such discussions.

The pink dot / will be more than a podcast. My friends keep telling me that what they enjoy the most about me is that they feel safe enough to fully express themselves and speak their minds when they’re around me. This my goal with this: to create a platform in which free, open, interactive and diverse discussions will happen.

The first season will consist of 8 episodes with the first airing tomorrow at 20.00 CEST on .
