Are you a female entrepreneur scaling your business using digital marketing?

You’re invited to participate in a business / social experiment and to be profiled in a documentary web series.
We will be casting local women business owners for a 3 month research project. Join us for an in-person introductory session to share the vision of the project, the benefits to the participants, and how you might be involved.

This will be an opportunity to introduce yourself in front of a LIVE audience, and we’ll have professional video and photography for the event.

Our thesis: women-owned businesses thrive in a cooperative, collaborative digital marketing model.
We will be creating and profiling stories of women entrepreneurs in an environment of togetherness and support, as we discard the competitive, ‘dog-eat-dog’ world of patriarchal economies.

Through a series of small / large group learning & community-building interventions, we will test various digital marketing success metrics to determine whether community-building is an integral competency to our business community and its members.

We’d love for you to be a part of the story: We’ll provide training opportunities - either free or highly discounted - through our participating community leaders and educators, and we look forward to featuring you and your business in our interviews.

The Video Production Bootcamp is a step-by-step online training program that equips you to write, shoot, edit and share your own professional looking videos. From the ground up we’ll be working through everything from scriptwriting to camera confidence, shooting and editing. One of the check-in activities we do in the Video Pro Mentorship program is ‘Brag & Boast’. I often find it challenging to share the good news about my achievements without feeling ‘braggy’, and I think as women we’re conditioned to be humble and keep that kind of visibility on the down-low. But if WE don’t share that news, who will?! Shout it out here - what have YOU achieved lately?

Shari signed up for my Video Production Bootcamp with the goal of simplifying her video editing. She had spent endless hours of back and forth calls and emails trying to get what she wanted, and was exhausted by the process.

I have great systems for how to do that if that’s your path. But what I love most is when my clients gain the skill to do the easy editing themselves - not only saving a lot of time and money, but having the creative power to create exactly what they want.

But Shari was a quick study and now does most of her editing herself. And she actually even enjoys creating videos even more!

I’ve been following my friend Gray-Smith’s teachings closely lately. As a prolific Canadian author, she’s been asked for resources and to share what she can in the wake of the tragic revelations of our country’s shameful of our indigenous youth.. She’s been profiling some amazing storytellers, so I know what I’ll be reading this summer. 🤓. I’m very proud to be Canadian, because if something is wrong we make it right. It’s who we are. We can’t rewrite history, only learn and vow to be better. So I’m hopeful for how we handle this reckoning as a nation - today I fly a respectful orange flag and bow to the suffering and grace of our First Nation’s people 🍁 Happy Canada Day
