For 3 years I pruned my hydrangeas reading all about when to cut them back and where to cut them on the stem. They stopped blooming for those 3 years. Last year, I didn't touch them at all but only put coffee grinds at the base of the plant. Now they're periwinkle blue, pink, blue and lavender. I even have 3 colors in one blooming flower.

We had a huge tree removed in our yard. They wanted $1,000 to remove the stump. So I decided to paint a koi pond on the stump. I used outdoor acrylic paint and a coat of resin, and added a few rocks for texture. I love it! Regarding the prep, I sanded it and then sprayed it all over with lacquer. Then I painted it.

I decided to give my patio doorstep a bit of a glow up ✨ it’s been a bit of a labour of love, and it’s not perfect but I’m so pleased with the result! 🤍🖤
I used Ronseal Garden Paint in ‘Daisy’ for the Base colour.
For the stencil I bought from Amazon, it’s a Nakleo stencil.
the grey stencil paint is Valspar mixed at B&Q in shade ‘Carriage Wheel’
Sealed with patio sealer from B&Q.
Measured (roughly) and did 6x stencils to each slab.
