It may be a cliché but don’t you love repeating that one-liner in your head?🙆🏻

Can’t remember where and when I first heard/read it but it helped me a lot especially during my corporate years handling people. Choosing to see their progress first, and always, rather than managing them through the lens of my expectations.

And now, having a 3-month old , I find it still applicable...but mainly to me 😅

Let me share 3 whys:
💛It helps me be more patient with myself.
💛It makes me evaluate and see the improvements I’ve already made.
💛It motivates me to keep moving forward.

You may not be good at graphics, nor the best at taking photos.. you may even find it uncomfy to write captions, let alone engage in conversations, but remember that it’s not merely your feed that people would go back to but the of you.

You have a unique personality and you definitely have a story to tell.

Trust that as you continue to create, you’ll improve, as you continue to show up, you’ll get better.. as you contine to engage, you’ll build relationships.

You don’t have to have it all figured out right now. Stop comparing yourself to others too. Their goal is different that yours, so your journey will be different too.

Surround yourself with people who’d inspire you. But also tell you when something’s off. And always remember that it’s okay not to be okay, and just take some time off.

Come back refreshed, hungry to learn more, eager to implement, and always willing to evolve. Because you know what they say, 😉

When you think you have it all together and then suddenly, you hit a wall...

Look back to see how far you’ve come, and realize the things you’ve been through.

Suddenly, you’ll start appreciating where you’re at and believe that you’ll get through.

If you have a , or just starting your own , or a , I highly suggest that you get an accountability partner - need not be a business coach.. could be a friend or a family member, that will not only encourage you when you hit the wall but also keep you accountable to your vision 😉

Think of a name over the weekend! And plan to e-meet with the person over the next few days. Make sure you both agree to but keep your expectations low. I’ll have to make another post to discuss this discipline further but I’m convinced that it helps us move closer to our goal, as we go through many walls 💟

Have you found your ‘why?’

I think there are 3 common answers to this that when combined could make a significant difference to any area of life:

➡️ because it’s what I know
➡️ because it’s what circumstances led me to do
➡️ because it’s what I love doing

But let me throw in a 4th that I think is necessary for every person to consider right now..

➡️because it’s gonna help people

The first 3 may actually change as we grow and mature whether as a boss or employee, a business owner or freelancer, but when we have the 4th as the glue that binds the rest together, we’ll have a more solid ‘why’ that will fuel us to keep going. 💛

You know how they say that once you learn how to ride a bike, you can never unlearn it?

That is my hope for all the things we’ve been learning while in quarantine. Some intentional, some due to the circumstance. Some are skills, some build our character up.

Whatever it is, however it may be, I hope you’d enjoy the ride 🚲

Struggle through the bad ones, fight to keep the good ones, and look forward to a better version of your yourself.

Isn’t it amazing how despite fear, people are helping others more than ever...

Even with social distancing in place, we are spending more time with our loved ones...

Uncertain of what the future holds, we continue to give even tho we, too, are in need...

We continue to love...

and that, is how we overcome fear.
